If I am remembering correctly, when guitarzan made an enormous group buy he told snow about their intention to share the vietnamese seeds and asked if it was ok. Snow asked guitarzan to preserve all of these varieties. It sounds like they are all f1’s and have not been preserved on his end. And for the landraces they are so rare he wanted to make sure they exist outside of his grow.

John is very aware of what we do here, and into it. He’s always said reproduce and share with his landraces, and his progressive illness seems to have extended that feeling to his hybrids, as he hasn’t been refreshing stock fast enough to keep many lines viable without help from the community.
