No I do not. But they sure need to. These big fan leaves are covering up the shoots. But if I had to guess they will double in size.
That’s not for real, just @Murciano207 messing around…we wouldn’t let that fly.
Sounds like Archive might come out with pre-90s Chemdog.
Lol.
It makes sense Archive would want to distance DJ’s name from their Blueberry since the whole patented Rec Industry thing.
Seems curious to me.
Now, Ive wondered myself if DJ simply got the Blue Hawaiian line from BOEL and worked it himself, or if he really did create it himself.
Like, Thai x Oaxacan x Afghan is pretty much BOEL Hawaiian
Either way, DJ is responsible for all of us getting access to BB/Flo lines.
The earliest BB line was held by a BOEL chemist and comes from somewhere around 79-81. Its called Mr. Blue.
My buddy in Manitoba holds it now.
Either way, Archive needs to give credit either to BOEL or DJ, or both.
Its for the DJ Short and Berner collab release.
Much appreciated buddy it was neat though….
Interesting this cut says Afghani Indica X Thai X Purple Thai Sativa.

I just read that Oaxacan and Thai same thing
wow yet another discrepancy hahaha.
so do we take next generation’s word that this is archive’s cut?
if so, I’d guess they acquired the cut from archive but used the information from dj short’s blueberry for that ad copy. More recognizable if they attach the dj short branding.
I will say one thing. I will find out everything I can about this. I have until the start of next year’s outdoor. Thank you @zephyr
Good luck, me and @iamyou_youareme have both been puzzling over this for a couple years already. We both grew this cut for a while and we each had different bits of info on it when we discussed it earlier this year.
Anything new you dig up would be useful to either further clarify, or further obfuscate the matter.
Archive is pretty funny about this stuff.
I’m thinking that it’s a cut that was pheno hunted by a lic Oregon Med grower using Archive seeds. Majority of these nursery clones are just pheno hunted cuts that were sourced from lic med growers in Oregon
I’ve looked over their site. Overpriced lots of hype especially with 15,000 dosido crosses. lol They do have a rep for serious dank tho
I going to do some digging on this with archive in P town and Next generation nursery. I will be going to Portland this winter “will do some recon”
It was my understanding that the tagged barcode seed to sale plant tracking required by OLCC regulations would prevent something like this from being possible in the OLCC recreational system.
Producers can only grow seeds they start in their own licensed and regulation compliant facilities, or cuts from licensed nurseries.
But there are different rules for the 3 license categories- producer, nursery, and processor.
I mainly know about the licensed producer and legal retail sides of this system. And I’m not up to date on any regulation changes made after 2016.
Yep you are correct OLCC lic med grower. When I refer to nursery clones supplied by lic med growers I’m referring to OLCC lic med growers
It’s a messy game out here in Oregon with all these nurseries/dispensaries sharing clones and not providing the clearest of info.
So far I’ve gotten clones from the following nurseries:
Next Generation Nurseries/Heart of the Valley Clones
They’ve all been healthy so far , but I run everything through quarantine to be sure, and then usually just run clones of the original clone I purchased.
I’m not sure I trust any of them to be honest, haha. Too much money involved to be honest.
I will say that Archive has the healthiest and cleanest clones I’ve found so far, so I think they are worth the price. Archive does have mostly hype, and a lot of their own work, but they do carry a few other breeders. Now getting them to provide correct info is the hardest part… they had a new clone on their menu I was curious about, ‘Pyromaniac’, but I had to reach out to them on instagram to get the lineage from them… then you gotta to trust the info they’re giving you… I dunno who to trust really, especially since I’m newer to this whole scene/clone game.
The info on the blueberry is puzzling though… I don’t know why Archive is giving conflicting info from Next Gen, and I’ve not personally tried enough of the other Blueberry clones to give an accurate opinion, so I appreciate @zephyr chiming in with the info on the other BB clones floating around here. The one from Archive is good though, I’ll give it that.
I run across nursery cuts all the time that just say “unknown breeder” The Indiana Bubblegum from Pacific green growers that I just grew had “No” info just unknown breeder info even though it’s sold through a rec/med dispensary as a recreational grow cutting. Somehow they get around having to disclose info if it’s an unknown breeder by way of the nursery can only sell to OLCC lic med growers or med/rec dispensary where they have two options to sell Med prices or Rec retail. The only difference is state tax.
Yes, they have some kind of work around when it’s an “unknown breeder” in order to label it so.
