 I do equate the PM with the commander of the deathstar at times so this works on many levels

Dr. Anthony Fauci, meanwhile, reportedly said during a recent meeting that disease models “don’t tell you anything. You can’t really rely upon models.”

Fauci has elsewhere indicated a preference for overestimating the possible effect of the coronavirus pandemic in the United States, telling reporters in March: “I think we should be overly aggressive and get criticized for overreacting.”

Better safe than sorry … But at what cost?

Everybody screams… ‘we didn’t do enough testing, we have no idea what actual infection rate is’. That is complete bullshit! There was a cruise ship that left Wuhan and was at sea for 30 days. There was a patient aboard which meant everybody was exposed to the virus. Literally every passenger was tested once the ship docked. I don’t have the numbers near me at the moment, but from the top of my head I believe the infection rate was around 17% and the death rate (of an older population) was less than 1%. I’ll get the numbers later and edit this post

Diamond princess is name of the ship. 4000 people on board. 17% contracted after a month compared to 20-40% for flu.

Source of article:

Inb4 the source isn’t cnn. True, not MSM source with an agenda. Either way the numbers remain the same. No need for agenda or feelz

You see the cost. 6 MILLION unemployed in 1 week. To put in perspective, during the ‘08 collapse, the highest unemployment number was 600k in 1 week. So yeah, a liberal media tugged on emotions to push an agenda then crash economy. At least Feinstein was able to cash out and the Kennedy center got 25 mil to fire their employees the next day

Benjamin Franklin once said: “Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”

Adjusting for delay from confirmation-to-death, we estimated case and infection fatality ratios (CFR, IFR) for COVID-19 on the Diamond Princess ship as 2.3% (0.75%-5.3%) and 1.2% (0.38-2.7%). Comparing deaths onboard with expected deaths based on naive CFR estimates using China data, we estimate IFR and CFR in China to be 0.5% (95% CI: 0.2-1.2%) and 1.1% (95% CI: 0.3-2.4%) respectively.

https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-020-00885-w

Passengers on the ship were confined to their cabins for two weeks or more.
18% of all infected people on the ship had no symptoms
CFR 1.1%

We estimated that the all-age cIFR on the Diamond Princess was 1.3% (95% confidence interval (CI): 0.38–3.6) and the cCFR was 2.6% (95% CI: 0.89–6.7) (Table 1). However, as the age distribution on the ship was skewed towards older individuals (mean age: 58 years), we also report age-stratified estimates. Using the age distribution of cases and deaths on the ship [1,2] to estimate for only individuals 70 years and older, the cIFR was 6.4% (95% CI: 2.6–13) and the cCFR was 13% (95% CI: 5.2–26) (Table 1). The 95% CI were calculated with an exact binomial test, with death count and either cases or known outcomes (depending on whether it was an interval for the naive or corrected estimate).

The CFR for the Spanish (1918) flu was >2.5%,[9] but about 0.1% for the Asian (1956-58) and Hong Kong (1968-69) flus,[10] and <0.1% for other influenza pandemics.[9]

Lol with 3 pages of ‘funded by’. Interesting how if you throw a few million dollars at something numbers just seemingly fit a narrative. Color me shocked. Remember when South Africa and their ‘top scientists’ along with a few million shekels determined it was a great idea to kill off 40k elephants to prevent desertification? Then after the great elephant kill the rate of desertification doubled?

Also of interest:

For those that are still wondering, social distancing and PPE when near others or around crowds does work to help limit the spread. Please be mindful and stay safe.

And a NYTime article on the reported statistic from NY state:

Felines apparently can catch this virus (and I think dogs, too):

Cattle and poultry producers deal with corona viruses all the time.
No reports yet how and if Wuhan virus affects them but there was this,

“He added that the Food and Drug Administration has confirmed that heat treatment kills other coronaviruses, so pasteurization is expected to also inactivate this virus. In addition, there is no evidence this strain is present in domestic livestock such as cattle.”

Its only gonna get worse. Between the disinformation news media thats inpired mistrust and the obvious things happening (looting and crime rising) people will panic and take any help they can get with greedy hands, and however they can get it. Vaccine, heroin or whatever therye after…money.

Wow…Now WHY would Facebook, do such a thing?

The best question to ask is what is the name of the company or companies making most of the coronavirus tests weve already been using. As in before March. Dec-feb would be best to narrow it down…
Why? It really reminds me of the movie gangs of new York. The part when they revote as many people as possible by shaving off the beards and having them vote again. Mayor pete saying who cares if we ran out of ballots (as in the entire accumulated population are done voteing) …the highest number of votes wins…so to keep on counting the votes that continue to come in.

And about the theory of this is all just a distraction to keep the information that a extremely large comet is dead set on hitting the earth. So of course the rich and powerful are going into their underground military and private complexes as they wait for the rest of us to die off. The virus was a way for us to not notice the real problem with the toilet paper shortage. We all like to believe this is due to folk stocking up on bulk amounts of several products when early on as in a month ago the unit order that was coming in for TP each delivery was 1200 at wally world but was cut in half then in half again over the following month. Why can they not get the regular order? Well all those rich folks apparently wanna wipe their assses for the next 5-10 years while living underground. So whats a better way for you to wonder where’d all the TP go? If we hear nothing on the news about panic buying and start asking the odd questions of who’s buying all of it. Which of course we’ve been lead to believe that panic buying is the root cause. But if these large companies received the required normal order…there may of been some panic buying but it would of stopped quick once folks knew the supply chain would not be cut off.

No one outside to bum spare change or “bus fare” from. Places here aren’t even taking cans for recycling, which is the homeless’ usual industry here since cans/bottles of all kinds are 10 cents.
I imagine prostitution is a harder sell in social distancing as well.

A shit-load of addicts just got their money cut off, and the addiction doesn’t take days off. I think there will definitely be an uptick noticed in theft when they look at the numbers.

Wait what? A comet…is coming, we’re all gonna die, and there isn’t a virus?

Odd that no astronomers have come out and mentioned this. Odder still, cause rich people have bidets.

Give me some of what YOU been smoking.
