I saw the same thing. Earthbox may be the better option if you go square root sip’s .

Thanks for the invite @CrunchBerries and howdy to other sipers. This thread was a good read. One of these days ill start making labs just to not rely on em1. Have you run into browning, dieing off lowers like greenthumb did on one of his? Seems to be the sucker branched mostly almost like the plant is self defoliating lol

Hey @Xsanriu glad you could join us! What exactly are you referring to? EBs or diy sips?

Ive seen it on diys. Greens thought was the cannaopy was too thick and bottom stuff wasnt getting enough light. Id have to dig back through his threads. I think it was one of his journals. The top side looks good but some of the stuff on the bottom of the canopy die off early basically. Ill try qnd grab a photo off one of my flowering girls to show. I think i may have just been light on my topdressings because my first round didnt do it

I’m been out of pocket with 4th celebrations for the last couple of days, but will follow up on everything that’s been going on around here. Looks like y’all have been doing pretty well without me. Hope everyone had a great long weekend~ Crunchy

I would imagine you could get away with transplanting, but at what cost. I would probably just let it ride at this point and be set up for next round the way you want it. The only constant is change.

Dude! How many cu feet of soil do these beauties hold? 6-8 gallon reservoir! What!? Release the hounds!

@anon74731205 the 27gal diy’ers are about that same size and they are in an ac infinity tent.

@iamyou_youareme @nube the hunt is on fellas! Keep us updated on your search. Looks like Walmart carried them for $150, but are currently out of stock.

Hey that’s copyright infringement! Ha! @BeagleZ told me about this strain. I might have to do like a whole cereal run (lucky charms, CrunchBerries, count chocula etc.) Thanks for the heads up big dude!

@Xsanriu I’m actually glad you brought this up, as I have experienced this with the current diy design. I pretty much modeled my design, after Greens with a few tweaks. I was waiting to address this issue, until I figured out what was causing some lower leaves to shrivel and die. Leaves looked waterlogged.

After playing with water levels and schedules, I think the issue has to do with the design. Just a guess, but maybe as the vermiculite floor and soil settle, this has changed where the water level should be. Or maybe I didn’t have the max fill water level correct from the beginning. I haven’t had any dying leaves recently, as I have started watering a couple gallons less than were the max fill line is and watering every other day. In future designs, I think I will follow @Maddawg ‘s design and add an air gap/overflow to help dummy proof when watering.

Speaking of watering. The SS4 in 27 gal’ers are drinking on average about 5-6± gallons every other day.

Couple videos from the other day. Everyone is healthy and filling out. 07/08 will be day 42F for SS4 and 40F for SSDD

SS4. Getting a citrus, sage thing going on. Dense buds and super frosty.

SSDD. Smells are amazing! Blueberry and maybe a sour smell on the backend. She’s thickening up and getting denser by the day.

Hope y’all are well~ Crunch

With that size tent you could probably fit in four 5gallon buckets with “gro-bucket” inserts.

Same SIP concept, no DIY needed. I think they’re going for about $50 for 3 right now. I’m going to be running a couple outside this season.

I am curious how similar this “Sage” smell is to the “Jimmy Dean Sausage” smell I have gotten/described off of a few plants heh. A little hint in said smell always reminds me of opening a pack of jimmy dean sausage to cook up.

I think the sausage/steak smells are pretty common. My wife used to say that our Space Monkey made the house smell like a fine steakhouse.

Jimmy Dean was a local yokel around here. Used to hear stories about him hanging out in a bathrobe behind his river front mansion, drunk, and yelling obscenities at passing boaters. Goals!

The Sausage King must’ve been crazy to put that giant JD logo in his backyard.

Dancing in his robe doesn’t surprise me at all!
