Nope, but its been at the top of my list for quite some time. Ole’ Hillbill recommended SM way back when and I’m finally getting around to growing some in the garden.
Giddyup!
First movie I rented as an 8yo, on my bike, cash from lawnmowing… & had enough left over for Fireballs & Lemonheads. Thought it was the best movie ever
Hell yea crunch! I got a cut of Soul Mate from a buddy recently myself that I need to flower out in the next round or so. I’ll be curious to follow along dude
Love this stage!! It really gets me hyped for what’s to come. First top dress of Barley, Crustacean, Insect Frass, Compost, Crunchy’s special blend of EWC, and Kashi added a couple days ago. Clones are out of their dome bag and are hardened off. Won’t be long. I do still need to make some more LABS, as I’m starting to run low. Keep it crunchy!
Whoa nelly
That’s how you grow a beard buddy!!!
Even crunch’s SIPs can grow a nicer beard than me!
OMG what a wonderful inoculation IMO lol I think it’s very beautiful when we have this beautiful colony proliferating!
I just love seeing substrates come alive!! If the surface looks like that, just imagine how the interior does. Nicely done dude!
That’s just ridiculous Crunch! Did you have to dump your SIPs this round or have you still been no-tilling it? Seems like with soil that active, it would easily eat whatever roots are left behind while you veg and take clones in between rounds.
I’m dumping and reammending after each round since moving from the 27gals. These sips are only 10gals.
Ah, good to know, it’s hard to keep up with all of that! But yes, dumping and reamending a 10gal SIP seems far more reasonable than a 27gal, you would have to be a glutton for punishment to keep up with that!
Ha! Right! My soil is stored in the garage, so I have to lug sips upstairs and down. It’s become much more manageable since moving to 10 gals. Even EB’s were kind of a bitch to move around.
Greetings to all.
Looking great @CrunchBerries
Hoping all is well with the new life. Bless up!
Couple Sips running outside this season. Found a slug in my outdoor Earthbox watering tube. Tried to scrape it out and ended up smashing/poking it down. Just put a gallon of water/labs in. Any thoughts? Thanks for all the info.
Bogbubbble, I believe it was an open pollination from @Cyr_grow .
Edit: added a tbls of epsom salt directly in tube followed by another g of lab water.
Welcome @Bayarealivingsoil
Welcome @Bayarealivingsoil
Thank you for the kind words brother!! I hope all is well with you and the family.
I’m guessing you should be fine!! Alan Adkisson (Grokashi) has a video out there where he tours his property and talks about having frogs living in his reservoirs. He details how the frogs close the loop even further, making it the perfect little ecosystem. Wish I could still find that video. When I reached out to Alan, he said it was a GGG video and has probably vanished. I’ll keep looking…
Hope you are well homie and I’m glad to see ya!

Has anyone run SIPs outdoors in VA?? I’m looking for when a good time would be to plant my one gallons into Earthboxes for outdoors.
I don’t want them getting too big before they start flowering.
Mornin’ Y’all,
I hope everyone’s 4th of July weekend is relaxing. I carved out an hour this morning to plant all clones in their 10 gal. SIP beds. I did not top water anything, aside from after the first topdress, and the reservoir is dry. I will only run the 2 315 CMH’s until everyone gets situated. After everyone feels more at home, I’ll topdress for a second time, and topwater again. I’ll probably fill the reservoir for the first time around then also. I’ll update soon with some pictures. Hope everyone is well~ Crunchy
