Despite what many people would have you believe, the world today is a better place than it has ever been in (recorded) history.
It is also worth noting that the periods of mass famine almost always correlate with the existence of a Socialist/Communist dictatorship. Ironically, it is modern socialists who would have you believe that the world is starving and that it is all our (the Western Capitalist Nations) fault. This couldnāt be further from the truth. The success of Western Capitalist Nations correlates so directly with the dramatic reduction in starvation across the planet, that causation seems quite obvious.

Without getting into a debate, that chart is labeled as famine deaths. That is not the same as starving, or under nourished. Sorry I canāt find the exact source, but I got the fact from the book, āDirt: the Erosion of Civilizationsā by David Montgomery.
