Daily Gripe Thread. What's bugging you today? What went wrong? Drop it in here and let it go!

It’s definitely a bummer. I spray right before lights out and turn the fan off before putting the plant back in so the silver doesn’t blow around, same as I would with pollen. I’m up in time in the morning to open the tent and get the fan on before the lights start heating up.

I just spray the whole plant then bin it after taking the pollen reason I spray the whole plant is,I’ve noticed sometimes when you just spray a few branches you get
Pollen sacks with nothing in them,I don’t know if this is just me but after that now I just spray the whole plant,I’ve had a couple of strains that didn’t even make pollen after spraying them with CS spray,

I’m spraying a whole plant too. Had two females and I’m trying to get one to reverse but he hasn’t. Even stepped it up to 550 ppm silver.

My wife’s transmission went in her car $3300 to fix, she’s owned this car 20 years first
Car she bought when she moved here from the Philippines lol Honda Civic, she put diesel in it one time instead of petrol drove it 20 feet and it died :rofl:remember her ringing me while I was at work to tell me that

Today’s gripe, had to replace a car battery. $200. Absurd. Last time I think it was closer to $100.

Went to the local horti supply, everything is up at least 10% since spring. Another $200.

I sprayed before lights out and my fans were tied to the lights back then. As the plants got further into flower I have the fans on all the time. Maybe I did the wrong branch one night? I have a little bottle with a pump top that used to have alcohol from a Dollar Store which I had my silver solution in. I always put a magazine behind the branch to stop the spray from going elsewhere. It is one of those things I probably will not find out what I did wrong, will be careful going forward.

I sprayed at 550 for a couple days and then I added some distilled water to the sprayer to make it stretch so now I’m probably at like 275ish. I’m really hoping some growth I saw this morning is the start of nanners :crossed_fingers:

That’s what mine is too. Silverwings brand little spray bottles. I’m sure it can be safely done with the magazine in the tent but I’m too paranoid it would hit other plants anyway.

You’re about to have a bummer of a day :grimacing:

And partly cloudy all week with high humidity…

ugh…

We are adding an addition to our home. We started the plan the fall before before the covid event got it’s sails fully blowing.
Lumber package price exploded as it was in the ordering process, the builder advisied us to cancell it. We did, but now your 3-4 months pushed back. The lumber prices was readjusted back to when we first ordered it, but we lost 3-4 months.
That of course pushes back, the digger dude, the mason, the framing crew, the electrical dude, plumbers. So they got to keep money rolling in and go elsewhere, as we gather up stuff.
Cabinets 12-18 weeks out, flooring was 8 weeks, a window well, maybe next year sometime.
Tile grab what is close to what you want, and if popular, (stuff we shun) just start your prayers now.
Subfloor adhesive, I bought the last case in our area, after running to every DYI store in our area.
Dry Wall primer, got the last 5 gallon bucket, and had to run 35 miles to get that one. Thankfully I can use my scooter to gather up the small items, well most of it, and the 60 MPG, makes it cheaper than driving the old Tundra for a small item.
I’m already starting to lose some plants as I’m holding them so damned long now in a hidden tent. What a bad time to make time on a project.

If you have one silver lining, THATS IT! Lumber prices here are easily 4-5x and in some cases 10x what they were 6 months prior to covid (say, summer 2019)… With no signs of em going down again anytime soon…

I went to hospital last Tuesday as I thought to have a hernia in the groin area, but it was a single lymph node which was swelled up and I got sent home to check with my doctor. Now I have an appointment on Wednesday but I did google swollen lymph node groin one sided and now I’m scared. We are going to have a second baby this November but all I can think of is, what can go wrong now and if I should be prepared when I meet my doctor.

I liked your post as in a support kind of way but I don’t “like” to hear that. Hopefully it’s one of the milder scenarios and your worry is for nothing though. For what it’s worth you can google a hangnail and be told you might have leprosy when it comes to google so don’t put too much trust in that. Not saying not to be worried or prepared to meet your doctor but at the same time there’s not much you can do without hearing if you should be concerned or not from him. I wish you the best with it though, hopefully something run of the mill and easily dealt with.

A good friend of mine has just had a premature birth and is not doing well. She had to get a C-Section, leading to a blood infection. Her immune system has always been very poor. She is waiting to get a transfusion. Little Bodhi seems to be doing OK for now but 22 weeks is so early. I worry for both him and my friend for what such an early birth could mean.

I want to go see her but I can’t because of COVID protocols… I feel helpless. I talked to her Mom and she is apparently very distraught, understandably. :frowning:

Well this here really pissed me off one time I was getting ready to go to the office, right? So I get out of bed and hit the shower. Couple minutes later, something just don’t feel right, y’know? I look down and I still have my fucking underwear on. FUUUCKK! So I pull them down and open the shower door. I see the sink right over there, so I hook my toe in the wet drawers, thinking I could just log them over with my foot. I misjudged the distance and the velocity it would take to get there. You following? Well, instead of hitting the sink, it landed in the toilet. And mixed in with a giant turd. FUUUCKK!
DONTCHA HATE IT WHEN THAT HAPPENS?

Ya know, there’s a lever or little pushbutton thats supposed to prevent that… Dont you flush? Even with the water shortage when I was young we had “if its brown, flush it down, if its yellow, let it mellow”
