DIY Topical Pain Lotion

I’ve been experimenting with making homemade pain lotion & a pain spray.
Today I made lotion out of hash infused cocoa butter. The other ingredients were, shea butter & mango butter. A little vitamin e oil & a light fragrance of eucalyptus & peppermint blend.
I’ve made several batches of the lotion & my friends & family are wanting more!! The pain spray is made with the Green Dragon concentrate. As soon as I make more, I’ll post the recipe with a photo. Both the lotion & the spray are amazing & work well.

This is great.

I know there are many who could stand to gain relief without consumption.

Beautiful.

Thanks 99PerCent  I’ve been making this for about a year now & have had so many positive reviews. Many nonmedicating friends have used it with good results.

Thanks Larry3215
YES!! , it works for my arthritis. My hands hurt bad & I get muscle spasms in them. I rub this lotion on & within 15 minutes… relief!! My sister has neuropathy in her feet, she uses this lotion at night & gets good sleep. My cousin uses it for a frozen shoulder & says its the only thing sge has used that works!! No reports of it getting you high & I’m nor sure if it would show up on a test but, if it did…it would be trace amounts.

Id like to hear more details about your recipe. What strains seem to work best - hi TCH or CBD or?

Im wondering if the product I made up for use in capsules would work?

Basically, I made RSO from Northern Lights and some unknown old weed, then dissolved that in some coconut oil with some lecithin to put in capsules.

The grow Im about to harvest is 1/2 Northern Lights and 1/2 Critical CBD, so I will have two to choose from for making more.

I’m not sure what strain. I take whatever I can get!
Every time I’ve mad3 it with a different strain or a mixture & it always seems to work.

hey… where’d you go?
did you post the recipe elsewhere?

Hey guys infused coconut oil is a good topical method for absorption… Been making it for a few years now and pretty decent shelf life along with other health benefits.

i make that for abuela to ingest through her g-tube.
but wife is now asking me to make a salve/balm for abuela’s knees. help with pain/flexibilty (she’s very stiff)
been looking around for salve/balm recipes and have run into a bunch of them. most of them using green dragon tincture. but my method has always been to decarb then infuse into coconut oil as i’m usually “cooking” with it (ingestible oils or gummies)

if you don’t mind my asking, what are you using for your salve/balm recipes?
seems the agreed on 3-4 ingredients are
infused coconut oil
coco butter
shea butter
bees wax

others add some essential oils, lavender, eucalyptus, mint for pleasant scent.
what am i missing?

Oh yeah that’s kind of the core group of ingredients I use shea bees wax lavender lemon thyme lecithin can help emulsify everything for a good blend. Recently I made a batch with a bunch of older flower prob couple years old and really nice high CBD CBN properties compared to traditional fresh buds high THC.

i think GDP would be great here. enough THC for a good painkill and a touch of CBD for the anti-inflammatory.

now just gotta collect the other ingredients.
