Hey guys. Just wanna let y’all know, this is my brother growing stuff in Uzbekistan. This is his first grow and he asking me some advice.
All he is asking if insects picking his plant. I ain’t growing anything here. I am admitted with $40K scholarship to University of British Columbia. So simply waiting for my visa. Not growing anything, YET😅
@allotment whats up you bro? I do remember you.
I’ve recently asked another friend to send some seeds, but they didnt arrive. Seems like borders are working a lot better nowadays.
Back in 21 I was growing 6 5 gals buckets at the top of my house at that time, a cop in his rest day playing with his kids controlling a drone flight over my house and just found my plants.
It was a rental place and I had to return the house for his owners without further consequences.
And pot plants reflect high amounts of infrared making them glowing beacons through an infrared lens. Plus, drug cops know the difference between ground emissions and plants that literally glow when none of the other surrounding vegetation does
Legal rec farms get a map made from satellite imagery showing their square footage and any infractions even by inches over their allotted area.
These satellites keen in on cannabis plants’ leaf signature, usually IR. So they can easily differentiate cannabis being hidden within a madrone tree.
Back in 2018, Sungrownmids showed Calveras county’s purchases and contracts for cannabis mitigation. This list included several satellites and numerous drones.
Here in the USA, before cannabis was legal… LFIR on helicopters did pick up the heat signature from plants. Locally friends would plant near sumac, because that plant would also give off heat signatures and grew much taller so it was easier to hide the cannabis.
One local did get caught in his guerilla grow when a chopper flew over, and 20 minutes later while hiding in his grow had cops on the bullhorn " come out! We know you are in there or we will release the dog!"
Being from Ky, and growing my first plant, in 1972.
I can tell you first hand, that helicopters, are one of the most useful tools they have, for spotting crops. And many of the cops/National Guard, dont even need any kind of heat sensing device ect, though they do use them.
In the 80s, under Reagan, they were using the heat sensing devices, on HOUSES, BUT, this was ruled UNCONSTITUTIONAL, SO THEY STOPPED. ALLEGEDLY. Though I suspect they may still use the device, but, will find other ways to bring charges, vs trying to introduce the evidence found by the IR Device. Because its Illegal.
We still have choppers flying, in East, Ky, and they find all kinds of weed. They come in so low, that the wind from the chopper blades, will flatten small trees.
And they can find Individual Plants, as easily, as a plot. There never were any choppers, before Ray Guns, took office. And before he took office, there were NO FEDERALL WEED CRIMES, AND ONLY ABOUT 20 FEDERAL CRIMES IN ALL, THAT CAME UNDER FEDERAL JURISDICTION. WHEN HE LEFT, THERE WERE OVER 300 NEW FEDERAL CRIMES VS 20, WHEN HE TOOK OFFICE.
Then Bush 1, did, OPERATION GREEN MERCHANT, WHERE THEY SEIZED ALL OF THE ORDERS, FROM GROW SHOPS, TO SEE WHO WAS GROWING/ORDERING. THIS TOO, WAS RULED, UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
But choppers are an extremely efficient way to find weed, especially in remote areas.
