Do Hydroponic nutrients expire?

I have DYNA BLOOM 3-12-6. I’ve had it since 2004. Do they expire? Would it be used for something else before I toss it?

I’d toss that, well past it and not worth screwing up a crop. Dry powdered nutrients last longest if stored properly. Liquid is good for about a year or so after purchase if kept cool and dark.

Say’s on the bottle - beyond organic, i bet it is

Seriously though elements tend to bind together over time so i’d be very surprised if it’s viable

There will probably be some rocks in the bottom. You can strain and redissolve those chunks in hot water, then mix back with the liquid. Adjust the feed up to compensate for extra liquid volume.

You’ll receive a plaque commemorating your frugality in the mail in 6-8 weeks.

Yea definitely something hard shaking around in there. It has crystallized around the screw cap. I was just wondering if there was anything it could be used for.

As long as it’s all in solution, it should be fine. I could see the chelated elements like iron being less effective.

If you don’t wanna risk your weed plants, use it on your lawn or something.
