Using nutrients that froze (stored in cold)?

I have a few bottles of some 2 part nutrients that I’ve had outside in my garage for a few years. I’d like to use them occasionally to supplement mega crop, but they’ve been through alot of hot/cold cycles. They’ve probably been as hot as 30C and as cold as -20C. Will they still be ok to use, or should I get some fresh stuff?

Thanks

I would hazard a guess that, if there are any organic ingredients, it would almost certainly be bad. Even if its pure chemicals, they can still go bad over time. - in the form of precipitates or other chemical interactions that change the ratios of the active ingredients.

I would be cautious if it was me.

It’s 2 part, the compounds that react in solution are kept separate. As long as there aren’t rocks of precipitate in the bottom, you’re good to grow.

If there are rocks, cut it 50/50 with hot water. The precipitate should re-dissolve and just use twice as much as you would normally.

Hmm well now I’m encouraged and scared lol.

They are pure chem nutes, no organic content. As far as I can tell there aren’t any chunks that have formed. Maybe I’ll hit a sacrificial plant with them and see if it dies

If that’s the case, then you have nothing to worry about.

I would shake them up real good and dump them out in a clear bowl large enough to hold all the fluid one jar at a time
Cleaning the bowl and washing good between the 2 parts.
Look for clumps cloudiness and anything that may have settled to bottom.
If it looks good and none of the above repack in original bottle container and do the next one after the bowl has had a good wash and dry. Repeat…
I am working with 3 yr old GH Flora Series and it is fine.
