So I have some Flora Trio bottles that were left in a hot attic for a summer by accident. Are these okay to use? what would happen to the nutrient solution if stored in hotter temps?
I can’t say for sure but I would not worry about it. Watch your plants, if they show signs of issues then flush and move on. If they don’t then just keep doing what you are doing.
If there are any solids or cloudiness I’d replace them. Otherwise probably good 2 go. They get stored and shipped in far from ideal conditions
i have a nute bottle i use that is 6 years old. it was stored in the one of the hottests garages in the US. i had told myself i wouldn’t use it, but i got cheap and tested it after a newer bottle ended. it worked. it’s the floranova. plants like it still. edit: i do have solids in the floranova, we shake it up, but i dont’ think the flora series should.
I’m still finishing a GHE micro from a pack of 2017 (that lived the hell), no problemo and in foliar feed ^^. We can debate on different aspect for the weed, but not on the fact that this line is made for the apocalypse.
My nutes have an expiration date on the bottle but I don’t believe it.
Bottles are big liars, and feeding charts are their accomplices. I only trust the plants.
Agreed. Reading your plants is perhaps the best skill for growing.
When I am having small issues I force Mrs Foreigner to diagnose for me as an educational device. She doesn’t even grow and has gotten very good at it.
Thanks for all the replies folks! Kind of hard to tell if they’re still good but judging from the replies I would say it’s fine. Only got 2 females out of this pack and 1 seems generally unhappy. Cant seem to figure out exactly what it is yet. She’s a really stretchy crazy looking Kush 4 x SSDD (freebie pack from bodhi).
