Now your cranking
I am excited, it is solar panel installation day!
What size are you installing??
I had 13.3Kw panels installed with 10Kw inverter(5kw normal and 5Kw hybrid that can have battery attached)
So it will be lights on during the day to use all that free power then. Your going to be able to run a lot of lights for nothing with that kind of kilowatts.
I’m just in the process of buying a new home and the first thing we’ll be doing is installing solar as well.
Cheers Johnny
Yep that’s certainly the plan to use all power during the day and not make a blip on the the radar, I am hoping it will run the about 4000w of the grow room and the house and still not have to pay for any electricity.
They are looking good bro… The Tut X GG
Is a cross of this Tut…
And this GG
Unfortunately I don’t have the tut anymore but I still have the GG mum…
My last run of Tut GG indoor was phenomenal I have just screwed things up royally in the new space, new water and different room temps and humidity. Hopefully not too many runs to dial it in.
I’m glad I kept aside the best looking youngsters to become mothers.
I done some testing on the nutrients and found that after I went above 1ec that the pH dropped considerably such as in the 4’s now I have it at around 0.8ec the pH is hovering at around 5.7.
I am wondering if the pH swing is due to relatively soft water. Back to the coast on Friday and will grab some calmag or calcium mono among a few other things while dad gets his car serviced, hopefully that helps.
Meh, that’s how it rolls with anything new, gotta fuck it up to really learn anything worthwhile …
Yeah I reckon the tut/gg is almost the perfect sog plant.
I think if your water is soft you won’t get any carbonate buffering so you will likely get rapid swings when adding/diluting nutrients… a lot depends on the nutrient formula too, ammonium nitrate Is acidifying, calcium salts are alkaline etc…
I have set up one of the tables and so far it works in concept, I will dry run it until tomorrow then add some plants and nutrients if all goes well.
Just setting up the pump timer, I think I will just start with 10 minutes hourly while lights on.
Loving your setup man!! Hope it doesn’t take to long to dial it in, for ya
What kind of system is this? I am still trying to get them all straight.
I guess you would call it a recirculating top feed in expanded clay medium.
Ingenuity I miss your flood trays /sog
I adopted soil system sog with bottom feeding in 2x4 trays in 4x4.
Werent you just running autopots?
Have a similar drip system for 4 plants might set that up for mothers in 2x4.
And also gonna run 2x 27gal dwc totes in sog in another 2x4.
Definitely digging the new dig up room.
Yes I am running Autopots on the right and top feed hydro on the left, it only looks like I will have 8 or so clones to put in straight up but I may sprout some seeds too.
It is a good thing I done the dry run because the res I was using had a Pinhole leak in the bottom, it must have cracked during transport (Edit: maybe when I dropped it down the hole to get it into the room), I bought a new cheap one today.
The 1 table is up and running and is 12/12 from clone, I want to veg first but I’ve nowhere to veg in hydro yet I reckon I will make a small vegging DWC sometime down the track.
Only 6 of the plants have roots the two on the end are bare with just some root nubs on the ends, those two were from the bubbler and will be replaced if the other 2 in rockwool show roots in the next few days.
Day 37 flower on the right wing and day 1 on the left.
I have some CalMag now … hopefully that helps things.
Planted some seeds for the hydro side and took some clones for the soil side this morning
I’m not going to bother with the bubble Cloner, I will wait until I’ve set up a better DWC/Cloner.
Coming together nicely bro, before you know it you’ll be hoppin out like
