I don’t use fresh ones but ones that have dried and started curing. I find you also use much less. I use the lowest setting which is 370 degrees.
I would say you are probably smoking indica if you are finding it more sedative. If I am not careful smoking sativa I will end up staying up all night. Remember you are not burning it you are vaporizing.
still using the volcano classic. it’s 15 years old or so. it works pretty good. ex wife tried to kill it…lol, she tried. it’s pretty tough. i had to get the brackets on the inside fixed up, but that’s all. been pressing the mouthpiece to a 14mm rig to hit it out of a bong. works great. i also have a fury edge i got the week it came out. i used it only for nearly 2 years and it still works great. it’s good too, but it requires sucking pretty hard which isn’t too cool after a bowl or two. looking at the toroma 360 atm and plan to get it once all my home remodeling is done. i would have got the venty by now, but it looks to be problematic and the new S&B mgmt appears to suck real bad.
I have a volcano hybrid, and a plenty and a mighty. I’ve been wondering about that venty.
I’ve also had the Analog volcano and the crafty…and a DaVinci and a arizer solo. Man that’s a lot now that I type it.
Which one do you like best as a portable? I was looking at the venty but it’s issues need to be worked out first.
The mighty and the crafty are both bangin. The plenty too but it’s a little bit clumsy

That lobo was a fine investment.I use mine everyday the cartridges are a godsend i get at least 8 good sessions off it its a must on the go and you wont stink like reefer no more it last all day in a nice small dose that gets a everyday toker a good long lasting buzz i keep it at 420 degrees and on a 4 min timer i start my rip after it hits the 2 min mark to give it time to heat the cartridge and i can pull at least 3 monster rips off it.I get super blasted and it lasts for hours it seems.You can really taste your weed and get those little tastes you never noticed its quite exquisite really.I can taste a almost 90s Revelon hair conditioner in my frankie i never noticed.Its actually quite nice

I used to use a ProtoPipe but picked up an Xvape last week. It’s a small portable rechargeable one. I’ve only charged it once so far but must have left it on once because I lost half the charge one night. It seems good so far, I get through a lot less than smoking it and the high feels clearer.
I’ve got an Arizer tabletop that is pretty good once you get the hang of it. For an intro tabletop vape I couldn’t be more happy with it.
I have a Mighty, Dynavap, and a Terp Hammer. The Terp Hammer is our favorite vape around here. It’s not portable, but it’s a fantastic piece.

I had something like 20 years ago but didn’t like it. But dynavap seems a very good piece.
How many puff for eavery load?
It’s the least favorite of ours, I can only really get one good hit. It tastes good though. We hardly ever use it. It’s a pita to get ready for one toke. You can do concentrates in it though which we don’t do.
Got a Volcano Hybrid and a Boundless Tera. The Tera would be nice … but it had to be sent to the factory after only about 15 times of use/2 months. The power button got stuck completely. The company did send me a complete new one with all accessories, although I only sent back the Tera with the plastic mouthpiece and without batteries. So, good customer service but you always wonder how long it will last …
The Hybrid is great. Always use the balloon and I like the cold smoke from it. I got the Dosing Capsule Filling set with it. Without that, it would not be great to use when you are alone. The normal chamber is way too large.
I recently picked up the Thermal Twist Injector by Crossing Technology. I was a heavy bong and joint user so I was worried about the vape not giving that level of high. The thermal twist has exceeded my expectations. You can sip on it for nice consistent hits or turn it up and rip it as hard as any bong I have used. I had to sit on the couch and collect myself after trying the first big hit. The flavor caught my off guard, wasn’t expecting the taste to be so amazing, it has almost ruined smoking joints for me since all I can taste now is the burnt material. Highly recommend the thermal twist or any ball vape for anyone that is skeptical of vapes not hitting as hard as joints/bongs.
