Make your own lactobacilli, to add beneficial bacteria to your soil. Those helpful microbes can also help improve terpene production.

You bring up a good point. So we have a few more pills to do.
Like Inoculation
Nutrients
Watering schedule
And a few more things as I think of them lol

If you get an appalachia leaner they are very easy to grow !

Good plan. Those little microbes will go much further than some magic bag of N-P-K/WKRP in Cincinnati… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I would prefer to make my own NPK because a plant can only use 1-1-1 at any time. So the stuff I make is like .1-.1-.1

Little slurry, we will check back tomorrow with how it settled and check EC.

!
So two days ago they got a soak most popped tails and then went right Into some soil from my backyard.
I’m planning in the next few days grabbing some of the granite from stone dust and breaking up my bark.

Lol soils not letting them take lol. To much clay in it, no where near loam yet, so the littlest bit of water makes it cake up quick. I will see if g light will raise temps enough. But I may just take the solo cup lids off to allow for moisture to escape for now :smile_cat: either way still waiting

Cut your mix with 30% worm castings, it will loosen the overall texture.

I’ll give it a go for sure. I did hook up my 400w solstrip so it’s at least warming things up a bit. Truely just a splash of soil in the bottom of the cup, my next thought was these bark scrap’s I got from downed wood in the yard.

Totally, get some microbes in there and it will soften up. :+1::+1:

Good to know! I was smart and did 6 this first round. So I may still have luck yet. But yes this clay sand isn’t what I need to get these little things there feet. I’m thinking a sprinkle of dirt on some bark will do it. Once I get back from the city today I’ll try messing around with it.

Just a quick update everything didn’t pop. I tried them all. Some in the clay. Some in water. Nada. So we got to try a new route. What do y’all suggest.

Damn that sucks. I just found this thread and was excited to see how it was going.
I recently started sprouting on top of worm castings. It’s been a really cool new method for me.
Maybe stick with coco or peat for initial seed plant.
Love the poll idea. Certainly takes you out of ingrained patterns

I had the inclination I might be sending them down a bad start but did so with vigor lol. Yeah I think for now I’m going to stick to water then in the soil (bag) it goes lol. Still mulling over the idea of what to pop next

I just found it. As soon as you log out you see the interesting threads . They don’t really tell you when they started . I can’t tell anyway .

I find that so many people are posting, things get buried quickly. So many threads to read.
