I appreciate all the great comments! Keep ‘em coming.

A couple favorites of mine are “Delahaze” from Paradise and the Dark Purple Auto from Delicious Seeds. That’s the only Auto I’ve ever liked. Such deep narcotic stone.

Hey man thanks for the thought but I’m pretty full up with other projects for the next while.

Also my friend just sent me a letter from Germany with some strains id never heard of before.

I’d have to do more research but I’m psyched anyway.

I just bought some classic strains from Mr Nice USA . I wanted to see if nevilles haze is still good, got afghan haze also

Mehhhhhh, European is like a fancy toilet. Jk jk

I think Dinafem got hung up in that big Spanish Bust a few years back, as well as a lot of other Euro Seed Banks. Multiple million of BOTH plants and seeds were confiscated/destroyed. There MAY have even been jail time involved. mrnice has been really nice to grow, but, **you can’t beat OG’s own @SamwellBB’s offerings. “BAKED BEANZ” is NOT to be missed!! SS/BW…mister :honeybee: :100:  :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Dutch guy here, I’m not sure Sensi has all the old stuff they say they have. But that info is purely from watching a lot of podcasts. Barney was fine ten years ago with for instance Sweet Tooth. Still have those seeds, gave me a headhigh wich was comfortable but unexpected. I now and than read/hear a bit more negative stuff about them. Ace Seeds, never had any issues with them, good stuff. Ten yrs ago I had a Kali China and a Pakistani Chytral Kush, both were lovely in this terrible Dutch climate.

RQS had a herm issue ten yrs ago but i read that it’s ok now.

They say white widow IBL from Paradise Seeds is good if you like the classic, I’ve got them but not sprouted yet. Too much stuff on the agenda.

visionseeds.nl has good Blue Power

Are there large differences between North American and European genetics?

I think there’s more candy shop stuff in the states.

Anyone tried weedseedsexpress.com?

There is overlap, but there are huge differences. Americans grew a lot of European seeds for a while, and a lot of the European gene pool never got crossed into the American gene pool, even though it was originally collected by Americans. When legalization started in the us, OG kush spread like wildfire, eventually becoming cookies, and the whole world started wanting American genetics again.

So yeah OG Kush, Cookies, and everything on down is considered American, while the work of Greenhouse, Shantibaba, SSSC, Serious, Paradise, etc was European bred gear.

Thank you! I had no idea. It sounds like there may be opportunities to create new strains by crossing some of them. Or, have I oversimplified it?

Well, there are possibilities. European breeders have been doing a lot of this in recent years. American breeders don’t think too highly of the European stuff

I remember rolling up a cannon of a hash joint in a McDonald’s in Paris. This is 25 years ago now.

Good European hash.

Hell yeah! That’s an experience

I wasn’t even expecting it “so yeah anyway tourism” and the hash is being flamed on the table top.

Does this trend continue with other regions of the world? Like Asia or South America or Australia?
