That’s where Bubbles the smol :parrot: comes in.

@Pigeonman , what germ method did you use for you Black Snow, and is that the only one you tried to pop? I’m 0 for 6, scuffed, 24 hours in aloe for 3, then into rooter cubes, next three soaked in water with a splash of peroxide, then placed in moist paper towels.
Rooter cube seeds rotted after a week, and the paper towel seeds are on 72 hours with no sign of life.

Ahhhhhh!!! :exploding_head:

That’s brutal @HeadyBearAdventures !!!

I scuffed 2x, floated in filtered water in darkness at 23-25c for 36hr, then dumped onto a tray of pure castings and only 1x popped a tap root.

The other was left and rotted after 7 days.

It’s killing me, but I’m way behind on getting new seeds up and running; I think I’m gonna have to move on to some autos, and revisit the black Snow after they’ve cured for some more time.
I hate to leave you hanging since the side by side is what we agreed to, but I’m gonna run out of head stash if I keep trying to pop seeds unsuccessfully (I’m only one harvest in since I started up again).
Don’t hold it against me grow bro.:bear::v::purple_heart::cold_sweat:

Only thing i’m holding against you @HeadyBearAdventures is RESPECT :fist:

I’ve been using a bubble cloner for a long time. Straight tap water. It has never failed me yet.
I think you will like it. So simple.

The only thing it do to my bubble cloner is change the tap water every 4-5 days and leave them alone.

Perfect! I was going to keep topping it off at this rate and see if this works.

The pH rises to quite high. If I remember it hit 7.6 after a week and I started to get weird issues. I only check pH when weird stuff is going on. I think it was an iron deficiency lockout.

OKAY! Total flush it is.

I know lock-outs all to well from learning DWC and NEVER AGAIN! (tears sleeves)

Yeah. I don’t do anything fancy to them and it works good. My temps are usually a little cold and it just takes longer. If the humidity is very low I put a perforated bag on it but if humidity is comfortable I don’t bother

BAHAHAHA!

I just ground up some Ghost Rose x Cookie Devil (@ReikoX ) from a solo-cup grow and after having my partner smell the freshly ground her response was:

“Smells like a slightly smushed carrot muffin from a gas station convenient store.”

Well…
She’s not wrong  .

IF you’re LUCKY!

FYI: Solid smoke forgot already what it tasted like but i’m feeling super organized and focused so it’s a good activity smoke based on this round 1 of testing :+1:

I was unlucky enough to have to pitch my GRxCD because of mildew last fall.

They make great shred toys for the little hook bills. My big boys don’t last 2 seconds with them.

I had to use the BR the other day that the grandson has used since March 2020 last week and I don’t think he threw any out since.

:green_heart: :seedling:

I believe we have a successful GG4 pollination.

Thanks Pigeonman
