@Pigeonman
I noticed the pot your plant is inā¦ it looks like it is made of black beads sewn togetherā¦ I have seen a lot of pictures from many folks on this site who are using this kind of pot but I canāt find them at the store. Do they have a particular or special attraction for pot plants? Where do you get them?
Thanks.

Hey @Reithel as @ShiskaberrySavior posted these are Air-pots and Iāve always been interested in using them and then made the leap after seeing @Slick1 's āDonky Slongsā growing out of them and havenāt turned back since.
They require more attention as they can dry out in a very bad way but I have never pulled off plants this size from such a small volume of soil before due to how these work. As an example I end up with plant sizes I usually get in a 2 gallon nursery pot when I end up using a .8 gallon air-pot!
Hereās a video cause videoās are rad.

Thank you for the link. It makes me want to switch!
Do you begin your seedlings/clones in that gal size and leave them in it their whole grow, or do you use different size air pots as the get larger? Or do you start them in something else then replant into air pots when they get bigger thru the end? Please advise. Thanks again.

Iāve never used them hopefully someone will speak up.

This .
Itās the same concept of up-potting but you donāt ever have to worry about circling roots or getting pot bound if you had to delay or just fucked up your timing lol.
My outdoors are going CRAZY as a result of the sheer root mass they got growing out in these with no growth stalling from the transplant!

INDOOR UPDATE!
PRESS PLAY FOR 80ās INSPIRATIONAL MUSIC
The 4x4 is trucking along and is STABLE ENOUGH for me to be less stressed about the summer indoor garden for now! Running at night with the 12/12 light period + dual-direct outdoors venting + dehumidifier + opening up the sub-basement (yes, my basement has a basement lol) for the negative pressure to draw up the cool air is all working!
the only thing Iām thinking of doing is piping my dehumidifierās exhaust outdoors to get that generated heat out of the equation but thatās for later this month.
Hereās the wide shot of all 4x plants doing their thing:
Black Snow is growing strong and throwing pistils after 8 days in 12/12 which makes me happy as youād expect.
Freedom Dream is such a weirdo as itās only been fed veg nutes and has also only been in 12/12 for 8 days but itās doing whatever the fuck it wants and Iām okay with this lol.
I mean, look at the flowering going on here!? Itās like it looked at the Manitoba Poison and said āIāll have what sheās having.ā.
White CBG is a dream . Compact plant, and with the application of BudBusterPro its got soooooooo many tight nodes along each branch growing out here. I really look forward to seeing what it ends up doing in the long run. Also throwing out pistils after 1 week in 12/12.
MYSTERY CULTIVAR (AKA: Post Box Weed). This is the plant I found growing under my mailbox. Itās been alive just under 1 month so I topped it and planted in into a .8 gal Air-Pot and have it in the tent getting the 12/12 treatment hoping itās NOT a long flowering plant or a male but weāll find out together now wonāt we?
It smells AMAZING though on a stem rub; like REALLY amazing tbh.
Thatās it for now as thatās all thatās growing-on inside other than my mothers.
Cheers and enjoy your day!

Late to the party with this response, if you sous vide long enough and at a bit higher temp you could decarb your bud that way avoiding the toaster oven step and smelly house.

Thanks @Mr.Sparkle ! There is a hard limit with my sous-vide unit which is why I am experimenting with both oven decarb prior to the water-bath and also just the water-bath.
Did you have a suggestion for a temperature and time to aim for to achieve the only-oil decarb infusion?
On a side note; as Iām nearing the end of my @GreenCulturED Master Growerās course I keep implementing things learned and hereās my latest example in the form of a nutrient solution aeration array prototype with a few tweaks to be done after this first test run.
There is a small air pump feeding a constant flow of air into a mini air stone via 1/4" air-hose held in place into the solution at depth with the help of a plastic reusable milkshake straw. This straw is about 1/3 of the way in from the edge of the lid.
This is so I can spin the lid to direct the circulationās flow. This may not matter if itās just nutrient solution but the unit in these pictures was a test run to brew a super-tea using 4cups of earth worm castings (suspended in a mesh bag) + 2 tbs of un-sulfured molasses + 4 gallons of filtered water. The off-setting of the bubbler let me have the bubbles directly under the mesh bag which was tethered to the bucketās handle at the side; and this meant that there was consistent agitation of the EWC for the entire 72 hours I left it running.
The pump stays on the lid above the solution so thereās no chance of a siphon effect. The sponge keeps it all quiet by damping the vibrations.
The dome is in the middle of the lid and is very lightly pressure fit. It serves as a window and by removing it I have a way to stir the contents or add what is needed
The lid array from the side when removed from the system is short enough to rest in a 3.5 gallon bucket when I need to access the nutrients directly.
The resulting tea looks amazing! However I wish I could have applied it after 48 hours rather than after 72 hours as it smells a little off but not enough to worry as itās just the start of the bad bacteria starting.lol
There is NO VIEWING WINDOW in the lid array I made after this one which is for my nutes because I add Yucca and that shit foams amazing! Testing out the effect of the mini-bubbler with the yucca in place made the solution a foam party!
The lid without the viewing port keeps everything IN the bucket.
Cheerās all! Iām off to make lunch for the misses and I in-between her clients showing up for the home practice

Cant say specifically on an oil bath, but when i decarb rosin in my instapot on the slow cooker setting which is around 190f it takes about an hr to two, so say at around 165-170f like you were running it likely would decarb in about 4hrs or a bit more once up to temp, really could throw it in and have it run over night and by morning it should be fully decarbed. even at lower temp levels.

Does this have an airlock system of some sort that Iām missing? Otherwise Iām confused about how you can have a closed bucket with air being constantly pumped in; most of the time this would result in the lid exploding off the bucket as the pressure builds up. I wouldnāt think the hole you put in the lid for the air tube would release enough gas for that not to happenā¦

The lid is not on tight, but is on enough to stop the foam from leaking out if it getās high enough.

I was thinking 1/4 of the suggested application rate as part of my standard food.
A big question @Jinglepot lepot is when do you add it into your mix?
My usual order: grow silic, harvest miracle, nute part a, nute part b, fulvic, hummics, terps, nzimes, bloom boost, yucca ā then correct for ph.

I usually add it as the last Nutrient before ph, but any time after your base nutrients is fine.
ie. I use 3 part micro, grow, bloom, add any time after that but before ph. I donāt use silicate with my nutes. When I use silicate itās just straight water and silicate, I find it drastically changes my ph and even if I ph it I find it binds woth other nutes and causes lock out. Could be my imagination, but thatās what I do
Iāll usually do a silicate watering every 4th or 5th watering

The lock out problem is real. Iām super ocd with how i mix due to āadd part b andā = it all seperates
Iāve cut the amount of silica into a fraction of the suggested application rate so i can use daily with my nutes without issues. Had to learn that the hard way though.

Guys, youāll have to forgive me, and if you prefer to buy a brand name no harm/no foul !
RhizoTonic XP is nothing more than seaweed extract and waterā¦From what I see itās $78.00/ltr???
AYFKMā¦ I ran the numbersā¦the Weight/Gal doesnāt lieā¦it weighs 1016gm/Ltrā¦this is equivalent to
8.48 LBS/GALā¦
I have run this dilution many times, in fact I just did it the other dayā¦1.25 Lbs of Ascophyllum nodosum (The most common species used in seaweed extracts) in one gallon of waterā¦you will get a weight of 8.9-9.0 lbs/galā¦
OK here it is in metric 567gm in 3.79 liters of water, If you prefer to buy just a pound of seaweed extract soluble powder, here is your mix in metricā¦dissolve the1lb bag contents in 3032ml R/O waterā¦
https://www.amazon.com/Seaweed-Bliss-Premium-Soluble-Extract/dp/B07DPX2ZX9/ref=sr_1_3?crid=2F3P2B6ALLYLP&keywords=Seaweed+Bliss+Premium+soluble+seaweed+extract&qid=1655428756&s=industrial&sprefix=seaweed+bliss+premium+soluble+seaweed+extract%2Cindustrial%2C120&sr=1-3
I personally purchase the Seaweed Bliss for my lab formulations and it costs about $18.00ā¦so letās see???(BTW itās very good quality or I wouldnāt be using it!)
You can buy a pound for about $18ā¦add it to your 3+ ltrs of water and you have MORE than 3 ltrs for about $6/ ltrā¦ or you can pay $78/ Ltr ???i Like I said AYFKMā¦
