I’ve recently had a male plant look very similar to the ones in question here and I had the same immediate thought of it being a herm. But I just let it keep going and I never saw any actual pistils develop so I think they’re fine too.
I would be tempted to take a short female and a short male and segregate them and let do their thing and leave the rest open pollination.
Just my opinion, and it’s absolutely not helpful at this point, but i think that forcing sativas to flower before they are sexually mature can induce stress/intersexism. That being said, my opinions on cannabis are often incorrect.
Also, your plants look great, and I’m not wrong about that.
As an indoor grower I would second the short line segregation, great job so far…
Poison Daddy F1; plants 1, 3, & 4 are all jarred up for their cure.
As for the female that was filled with seeds…
Here’s the plant ground up by hand before the vacuum + cut bottle treatment.
There’s a lot in there under all that chaff. Closer inspection shows some white seeds but most of them are nice and striped!
A few minutes later AFTER the vacuum sorting most of the duds and chaff was gone. I tossed it all on my tray and pulled out the tweezers.
30 minutes later this was my site to behold!
I took out 50x seeds and weighed them after taring the scale to zero. It came out to 0.7g for the 50x seeds. I then added the remainder to the container and here was the result.
50x seeds = 0.7g
Total seed volume = 48.7g
48.7g 0.7g = 69.57
69.57 x 50 = 3478.57
Let’s round that down and assume the approximate number would be 3478 seeds produced from Plant #2!!!.
Now to store them a few weeks to ensure they are firmed up and then the give-aways begin!!
There’s a mathematical FUCK TONNE of seeds for everyone to either F3 or bring to flower. @CADMAN this has been rad, thanks!
Heading to the seed-run in-progress; the Jalisco Landrace are all rearranged and accept the loss of plant #4 due to it’s heavy hermin’.
I mixed them up a batch of week 3 veg nutes to help with boosting the nutrient requirements for their seed production.
Alright, now it’s time to eat ice-cream and watch something dumb.
Thanks for checking in! All the best y’all!
Love this thread
So what are the seeds poison daddy?
Yes @ShiskaberrySavior they are Poison Daddy F2’s.
Poison Daddy =
Kosher Daddy (Grandaddy Purple x Jews Gold 1974) x Durban Poison
Give me a holler when you start sending some out . Thanks
Nice, Ive found count out 100-200 seeds a bit more accurate when weigh counting, but really it’s not off that much.
I’ll try that as well!
I’m thinking about the winter’s run and have so far decided on:
5x Rockstar (regs; will sex and clone)
1x Buddah’s Cane (Fem from @ShitSeeds gonna veg for 2023 outdoors)
1x Blueberry Twist (fem auto from @GorillaSeeds going at 24/0 for it’s 6 week run in my 2x2 with HLG100 )
These in addition to the 3x monster-cropped and the 9x Jalisco Landrace from The Landrace Team.
Congrats on your seed run Pman!
They appear to be fairly large, uniform is size…
LOL, I have to wonder if you’re growing for seed…why would you do it without BBP?!
The Poison Daddy sound nice! Is there a relationship between Jew Gold and Kosher Kush?
You’ll regret only 1 Buddhas Cane, but I am excited to see what you do with her either way.
Looks like an awesome lineup. GAME ON!!
I agree!!!
it got re-named Kosher Kush as Jew’s Gold was deemed offensive. Just in case I did ask my best friend of 32 years who’s Jewish if it offended him and his response:
Dammit I hear that. I’ve been waffling on growing 2 making 1x UK Cheese, 2x Buddah’s Cane for outdoors next year. It all depends on when BC finishes outdoors as I loath long trim jails after doing too many of them in a row.
Why does BC finish up outdoors @ShitSeeds ?
She’ll finish around the second week of October… give or take
It does get a little cool for her, so keep her covered into October frost days.
Damn. Same as the
I’m gonna stick with 1x for now knowing I’ve still got options for indoors as well.
That makes sense. That UK Cheese is gonna be fun too. I like cheeses.
Lmao. Yup. As expected.
