Definitely powdery mildew. Where did you get the plants from? I can definitely tell you how to get rid of it. 1 tablespoon of 90% sulfur per liter of water and spray that on twice 2 weeks apart. It won’t come back. Never spray in bloom.
Right but he is in bloom. What then?
@Thetravler I’m encountering this issue currently, outdoors. I’ve removed the fan leaves and added fans to get air moving. I’m also spraying with two different things that are meant to help. At least one of them has 25% sulfur in it but says it’s good to be sprayed up until the day of harvest. We’ll see. I’ve sprayed twice. The first application of Nuke Em took care of most of the white spots that I saw. Some plants seem more stubborn.
I cut down all the blooming plants, and then treat the clones in veg. End the cycle right away, and start bloom again.
I can concur. You’ve got WPM but you’re in good hands. Follow @JoeCrowe s advice and you’ll get throught it. Best of luck.
So just to be clear. @JoeCrowe is saying to kill your plants… no hope… kill them and start over because you are in bloom already (correct me if I’m wrong, please).
I’m saying, “hey, you can defoliate it and make sure there is air moving around at all times and spray it with these products that don’t contain a large amount of sulfur and hope they help”.
Yes, you want to finish off the infestation right away and get on with your life. I’ve seen so many people struggle with it and get the PTSD. Just fucking nuke it from orbit and, BAM, start bloom again.
Here’s the most important part. Never bring in plant material that hasn’t been decontaminated. You can expect to lose the crop. This includes bringing buds in from outside to dry.
Hey heres an update on the late autos I planted the one and only true survive and in se cond place we got dont come home late willy ! and third. place gos to Im Still Comein
@RainToday
hey getting back to you about the white mildew spors how did your treatment work ? and what was it you use ! i am trying apple cider vingar i was told works just waiting to see the rssults
thanks for taking the time to give me your advice i appreciate that you did that thank you cheers ! and yes i did use alot of your advice
And Dont listen to @THCeed he told me to defoilate the plant and blow on the buds till they seem dry !!!
I sprayed all the plants once and the effected plants four times, with two days space in between applications of Nuke Em (it’s mainly citric acid). Of the six or so plants that showed signs of PM, half don’t have any signs of it any longer… while the other half still show some signs and I will likely kill them this weekend and collect their seeds.
Damn, I thought I could keep you out of everyone’s hair for awhile with that one.
ok i might have only been growing for a couple of weeks now and i think the seeds might have been mislabled cause Im starting to think these are not autos !!! planted Aug 23 and still havent flipped !!! but the pack says autos
There are a very few autos that run super long, but most of the ones I grow are covered in bud by 7.5 weeks old. Can you share the kind & breeder? You probably already mentioned it earlier in the thread, I’m just lazy and lack memory.
At this point if you have the choice I would switch their light schedule to 12/12. If they start blooming, they probably weren’t autos.
thanks as always great advice ! i was going to harvest the outdoor one but instead brang it home first to show how they compare with the auto from outside !!! ready heres a funny
Very fun to see them side by side! Makes me think those indoor ones would like to be much closer to the light.
so the strain is foyoberry by g13. just to let you know i took these pics while i was cleaning so everything is pulled up out of the way . i have had to clean and spray my tent several time now to get rid of the fungus problem from last grow . I cleanded the tent with bleach and lysol after last grow and all my lights and ropes but some how the mold spores have been found on a couple of my leafs so i have been cleaning every couple days now !!! worst than having a demanding kid !!! I have plants all over my house that these black spots and colour loss from the plants has been effected with that powdery white stuff
