What about water temperature does that matter much?

Yes it does, I usually have my cloners around 75 degrees…there is actually a heating mat under my cloners…I have a upside down metal lasagna pan under my clear cloner and the black cloner is only half way on the heating mat…Hope this helps.

I run at 80°f but at that temp you can get algea pretty quick if its not sterile. I use a fish tank heater I got off Amazon, works great, set it and forget it, shuts off when water gets to temp and fires back up when it starts cooling down
