@corners He keeps the children and dogs out of the grow area. When you step off the steps and turn the basement light on he is the first thing you see.

There isnt much going on with the grow. The buds are getting frosty and the seeds are growing.

Most excellent! They are healthy and beautiful! Nice variety within the group. Hows the nose in There?
@4ftfarmer Females 1, 2 and 3 all have the same sweet floral smell from the buds and a pine or pine sol smell when you rub the stalk.
Females 7 and 9b have a hint of sour with the floral scent. Female 7 has the pine sol scent when you rub the stalk. Female 9b the sativa leaning one has a peppery dill pickle smell that fades to lemon. Sorry for the low quality pictures, I had to resize them.
Female 1: 29"

A few seeds are starting to drop when I move the plants around. I pruned a few of the smaller thin limbed branched from the bottom of several of the plants.

just read up on your run looking great that number 9 pheno looks steller really like the look of the number 7 pheno too great stuff @SEMOActivist
Seeds are maturing nicely, seeing more brown than white now. I will cut them sometime between May 8th and 15th. This will be around week 9-10 of flower.
I flipped February 19th, pollen started dropping from the first male around the 3rd of March. The females except for 9b started flowering around march 5th.
First picture is a group shot. The female in the back left has some color that the other ones do not have.
I had to move up the chop date. The plants are hanging in the tent.
Doing this diverse run of phenotypes was a challenge when feeding during flower. When the plants went into bloom and started making seeds all five had a different nutrient requirement. Some starved while other burned, so I burned them all.
Female 1- 29 " in height. The first seedling to break soil. Branches grow long and tight against the main stalk doesnt spread out much. This Phenotype would be good with many in a sea of green style grow. The fan leaves stood in a praying position most of the grow. If it isnt praying it needs attention Floral smell from the buds with hints of pine or pine sol. Phenos 2 and 3 has the same smell profile.
Female 2- 27 " Second seedling to break the surface. Pheno 2 takes up more room than 1. The lower branches spread out further from the main stalk and dont grow as long as pheno 1.
Female 3- 31" Third seedling to break the soil. Shaped similar to pheno 1 with longer lower branches tighter to the main stalk. The crowns of the buds turned a pink shade.
Female 7- 32" Similar to pheno 1 and three in shape with longer branches that hug the main stalk. This one had a sour smell to go alnog with the floral of the others. The leaves on this one turned a dark color. The coloration may have been caused by too much phosphorous. This pheno and 9B require the least nutrients. Floral smell with a stronger pine sol scent but with a hint of sour.
Female 9B- 34" This female was a twin the other plant 9A was a male. This is also the only pheno that showed sativa traits. It had the thinnest leaves with the longest internode spacing and smallest bud sites. The branches where also thinner than the other pheno types. Floral scent with hints of a sour smell mixed in. This is the only plant that when you would rub the stalk it had a dill pickle smell that would fade to a lemon smell in fresh air.
The final photo shoot. Females 7 and 9B are the two in the back of the tent.
Excellent post! Great photos!
Wow, they looked like majestic shaggy beasts! Beautiful work.
I chopped the plants up yesterday after hanging for for elven days in 63% humidity. They are very sticky, I was not expecting that with all the seeds in the buds.
Female 1 had a hollow stalk, Females 2 and 7 had a much smaller hollow space, females 3 and 9b had solid stalks. When cutting the stalks they all had the same smell dill pickle, varnish with hints of the smell you get when running lumber through a planer or sander.
The buds have a pleasant sweet smell. Its not really a floral or fruit smell at this point. I may jar a few buds to see what the finale smell of the buds will be.
Plant 1
Plant two and seven looked like this
Now what is the best way to get the seeds out of sticky buds?
