First Octopot Grow!

Yeah just a bit leggy, must just be the nature of this wedding cake Auto. took the net down but had to put it back up, I’ve only got another 3 or 4 inches at most of slack in the light.

No smell that I’ve noticed yet.

Try bending them or super crop them

Yeah lol, I always do, I tried taking the net off earlier than I normally do and she went crazy . It’s back on now or I may have run out of space.

Upward growth has stopped…

Getting close to 2 months from seed here.

PH was lower than I thought, got down to about 5, rust spots started showing on some leaves added some Cal mag to the next 2 gallons with a pH of 6.2. hopefully that straightens her out.

Great Grow!
Im almost 3 weeks into my first Octo-Grow, and my second ever grow.
You can definitely do 3 plants (or more)in your tent. They will each just be a bit smaller.
My last grow (first ever grow) was Five 5-gallon plants in my 2x4. Its all about the canopy, training, etc. I pulled out just over a pound from five girls after dry.
Was going to do my first Octo-Grow with 2 6 gallon plants, but lost one due to stupidity. The plant that did make it just started going crazy after almost 3 weeks of not much. I could start the other again, but it took a solid 2-3 weeks for things to happen, and dont want to play catch-up with the other plant.
In my 2x4 Gorilla tent, I can fit only two 6 gallon Octopots. I plan on getting 3 of the 3 gallon systems next. Three 3-gallon Octos in a 4x2 would work very confortably, I think. And your Spider Farmer tent is slightly larger dimensions.
When I spoke with Chris at Octopot, he recommended only one 6-Gallon Octopot for a 2x4. I decided to go for two. We’ll see. He advised I could completely fill a 2x4 with one Octo-Plant…
Im going to veg it HARD starting this weekend, and try to pull as much from this Electrify (Lovin in Her Eyes) as Im able.

Thats AWESOME!
Just started my first Octo-Grow in a 6-gallon. Hoping to hit big number in my 2x4 with 320 watt LED.

Two octos is more than enough in this size tent. I had two photos the last time that produced over 2 lbs.

I thought the same way until I saw what these can do, grow after grow…I have three octos, I just don’t use the other two any longer.

like any container , Octos can grow pounders or 2 ouncer’s , just depends on veg time and size at flip

Definitely! I’ll do this one grow, and hopefully pull a 1 pound+ harvest. Ill try the two 6-gallon Octos again next grow. Need to have a little variety…

Nice to know youre pulling a pound+ consistantly with one plant.
What light have you been using? My first grow with the 5 plants, I used HLG 350R. This grow, I’m using Grow Light Science ProGrow320. They are both comparable watttage-wise, and probably yield around the same.

We shall see…

I may take this opportunity to install the Auto-fill system with the emptied out Octopot. Make sure it works then swap bases.

Yeah it’s been great so far, the last one pulled just over 18 oz.

Migro Aray 4, great light, this is my 7th grow with it and no complaints.

Very nice man it’s crazy how fast these things will fill a tent

2 months from seed…, just 2 days after the post above, she’s really filling out.
Should finish up beginning of November.

Autos for me take 2-3 weeks longer in the octo, the veg length is also stretched out nicely.

Have I mentioned I love octos!?:rofl::clown_face::laughing:

I’m having a bit of newt lockout or deficiency I’ve got some Red Rust spots on several of the leaves.

PH was down in the fives but I corrected that about a week ago.

do any of you foliage feed, to help get the newts back on the upper level???

I do use foop spray , also you can mix Epson salts in water and spray that’s helpful, but I never do this during flower once ph is corrected all new growth will be fine but the old marks on the leaves will stay that way

Yeah I give them a good soak of Epsom spray a few weeks into veg. Hoping it just works itself out, she already smelling good.

Rust spots continue to spread. PH is 6.1, PPM is about 900, everything is the same as every other plant I run, changed nothing.

She’s still filling out nicely buds are already feeling very dense.
