First Time (growing legal that is)!

I just dry them totally, make it all shake, and do the rolling tray separation. Then I smoke or give away the shake.

Yo Bobby! Thanks again for sharing that video (and all of your fantastic beans!), really fun to see!

I gotta ask… are those large mesh bags you use in the video expensive? And can you share the source? I get small ones in various sizes over here, but nothing as large as you’ve found!

I wish I could just let them grow until cut & dry, but with our humidity levels over here and being basically outdoor, I find if I don’t remove the ‘early’ beans as they ripen the calyxs tend to mold out and I risk it spreading throughout the buds if I don’t pull 'em. That said, when the chop does come around those big bags would be handy again…it’s a long walk from the nursery to the drying tent! :joy:

Another on-and-off rainy day here!

Gave me time to do some work on the Next uP-comers! And man are they looking good! I’ll say it again…OG’ers are the BEST! Thanks guys! You know who you are!

A few closeuPs

And the African contingent (Malawi’s) is looking much, much happier outside! I’m just seeing the first pistils appearing. At 20 weeks flowering, I can’t believe I may be waiting until March to harvest these??? Nothing has EVER taken that long over here so this’ll be an interesting experiment! The good thing is monsoon should be well over by the time they are getting thick! Just afraid the 3-gallon pots aren’t gonna be enough for them for that long? Would love to hear thoughts on that from anybody who has tried?

Still pluckin’ beans! And today I hit uP the Strawberry Diesel x Space Dude pretty heavily during the 1 hour of sun. She’s had the male dangling over her for 3 or four days now…as has the Powie Poison w/a male Powie Pink.

The drying tent finally (momentarily!) got emptied out enough to fit in a hanging rack of the Mexican Oregano leaves that have been s-l-o-w dehydrating for 2 weeks in my living room now! The leaves are so succulent it takes forever! Just another Bro-Science project…I’ve got enough ‘fresh’ leaves for a few lifetimes but just wondered how they work dried.

Okay, hope you all make/made it through Hump Day!

Your plants are gorgeous “T” and those Malawi look Magical.

Thanks and have a Good Evening

Everything is looking great @Tlander My thoughts would be to give the malawi’s teas during the monsoon season after rains and top dress when the monsoon season ends. Another idea would be to cover the pots during monsoon season to avoid flushing the soil.

Malawi - when i grew the mother of those, i had it in a 5 gal pot in my tent. It was difficult but not impossible to control.
I think the 3 gal will help control size, if that’s what you’re concerned about.
Give them bigger pots and you will have trees!
Try a couple plants inground and let them fend for themselves.

Hmmm! Good ideas! Depending on how fast they fill in the flowers, I may have to move them back under roof for the height of monsoon…It’s just a question of having enough room! I was concerned that the little 3 gallon pots won’t allow them to thrive for that long. Lately I’ve been transplanting some random 3 gallon plants into15 gallon bags and at 2 months they’re already so well rooted that the whole root mass stays fully intact through the maneuver.

I have some felt ground-covers that work pretty well, might find some that are bigger than the pots by a few inches to help shed rain. Unfortunately, our soil is packed w/termites and they LOVE ganja! I gave up on in-ground around here after losing too many plants!

Always something new to learn! Thanks for the input guys!

Whoops! I burned one and the evening just slipped away from me!

I glanced over at the Baja Blasts about sunset time and they were looking gorgeous! Can’t remember how far into flower they are now, but they were just wispy little things a few days ago. Starting to fill in now…

.

Same withe Corey Heime x Blue Kush. She’s gonna get the chop tomorrow evening.

.

Chopped 2 more small Soulmates. They, like the last run, are smallish plants that don’t really look like anything special…but boy is that a disquise! Great smell and a high that doesn’t stop!

Local fungi were looking pretty cool!

Okay, maybe a bit more time tomorrow???

Search for Bubble Hash Bags 220 micron All Mesh 20 Gallon Single Bag and Bubble bags.

A 20 gallon bag with 170 microns would be better. Some pollen is smaller than 220. If you find something not insanely expensive, let me know.

He is so entertaining. Here he is eating some plants I tossed out, but makes for a great “naughty dog” picture.

Sunday night and I’ve got a couple wild days ahead, so more pics - less words!

I only managed to get one Freakshow through germination. 2 others sprouted but were sickly and died in solo’s.

Got some more 1 gallons transplanted up to 3 & 5 gallon pots… had to move 4 larger plants to the upper greenhouse to replace those we’ve cut this week.

And a few mid-sizers… @Budderton

The next batch of youngsters…lookin’ good!

And the seeded out Roof '95 is LOADED! @MissinBissin (Zoom in bro!)

Okay, that’s about it for tonight! Ive got clients/guests arriving tomorrow and the Doc’s on Tuesday so gonna be busy for a few days. Tuesday is also the day my nursery land is scheduled to be sold out from under me! Hoping I can swing a deal with the new owner  Keep those fingers crossed!

That is some great news, that it’s loaded with beans. I just received a few of these myself, but I feel like the pressure might be off a little after seeing that. LOL Have a great night brother.

It’s like a cannabis zoo over at your place TL! You could charge admission! Where else can one see such a diverse cross section of Herb plants , live in one spot? Awesomeness!
Best of luck at the Docs and with negotiations!

That could lead to PTSD for the Plants @Budderton

Imagine if you were stared-at by admission-paying, drooling Pot Growers from OG all day… that could be stressful

Seems like every time the Upper Greenhouse room gets close to empty it somehow miraculously gets refilled overnight!

Same thing keeps happening with the new room! Added 5 more in here this morning and probably another 6 this afternoon.

A few plant shots

A couple drying nuggets I can’t wait to try out!

@Tuned Malawi’s are looking great! Kind of amazed how quickly they are starting to flower out all at once. So far it looks like you called it; ALL 9 are females! (There are 2 non-Malawi plants mixed in there, but it’s obvious!)

Really hoping my 3D printer guy gets back soon! The ‘bean bags’ are starting to stack uP! (And that’s just the right side of the tent!)

Trying to keep the number of plants at one time in the drying tent down. Nature’s cooperating … so far.

Okay, back to work again!
