Thanks to @Uncle_Al I got me a pH-NPK soil tester kit. Well i now put it to good use and let’s see the results. There might be a lot of variables to this, transportation time, extreme heat in the container during, time of packaging and some other things thatmight escape me, but here we go.
The results show an expected outcome, they say that it brings very little nutrients and more air. As a soil formula, it could be treated for pH and maybe try to balance the NPK a little. Just IMHO.
pH showed over 7.5 which is way too alkaline, N showed less than adequate levels, P according to the chart it seems that has sufficient, and K has depleted or none at all. There you go. At least now i know what i’ll be working with.
Thanks for watching and please tell us, have you done this before, and if so how did the results compare to mine, thanks so much again.
My little one, she’s 6 and she was really bored about it, we finished it and she was good, but not for kids really. They are expecting something to happen and then the little test tube changes color… BOOOOOOOHHH!!!
I had a kit but its gone now. Idk whereXD if you add worms they will take care of your ph and maybe free up some nitrogen. Add dried alfalfa or kelp or something. Whatever is available to you:)
Take her outside for some mentos and diet Coke, that’s a reaction that always pleases, and then there’s home rolled fireworks that was a lesson I got from my dad, how to homemade fireworks.
