Agreed. If i was to make my own creations for retail seed market, Id select for known quality traits and backcross em in, hoping for each generation to lock in the desirable traits. Im runnning some RebelGrown Double OG Sour. Its offered as a 5th gen incross/backcross, cubed back to the Sour D mom.
Most female phenos out of my pack lean OG Kush. Kush nose. There are slight differences, but most are close.

That’s great idea. The barn should hold some heat for you at night. It’s tough doing everything yourself, but you should be be able to scrounge enough time up to build a small greenhouse. Especially if you just build a shed roof from the barn down to the ground or a knee wall. I bet it would only take you half a day if you didn’t make it real big. I used inside( the equivalent of a greenhouse for me) mostly after the solstice. I read that the buds can be larfy if the plants are flowered out prior to the solstice due to the spectrum of the suns rays at that time of year.
But, i know people finish up in may and June outdoors all the time, so I am going to try flowering before the solstice when I get a greenhouse going.
Is the AfroPips Malawi you have pure? I think you mentioned it was a cutting? Do you happen to know how many weeks flowering total? Two of mine came in at a hundred and five days, and the other two about a week earlier.

He’s the creator of the original '79 Cherry Bomb which is a pheno of Maui Wowie I think. There’s also a Cherry Bomb Indica I think, that gets mixed up with his. His site says it’s private now. He had the whole story and other cool pages with writings. So, I don’t know what’s up. I had the site bookmarked but it says it’s private and I need a log in. No option to request anything.
I don’t know for sure but he told me it was the Malawi Gold Afropip’s hack. I Have seeds. I’m not for sure if they are f2 or not. Same one is crossed to a '72 Colombian Gold. I need to see if I can get in touch with the person I got them from. He’s in Europe and on another forum.

That’s my plan. I have to make seeds of most things I have, but please stay in touch or hit me up anytime when you see or hear something. I do have some seeds that are crosses but could be good like that Golden Wedding x ???(Sannies Jack X Silverfields I think). I’d love for somebody to grow that out. It should flower in 12 or less, and I would guess 10-11.
One thing I’ve learned is that once I do a seed run of something speciaI or of limited seeds, I need to run that strain only. I have a bad habit of keeping all males of lots of strains to try and grab some pollen but it usually finds it’s way to the females.
I will try and pollinate the ON Haze with a nice looking ON male I have. It’s very similar. And I may have time to pollinate with some other pollen I have.
I only have 7 seeds of the Lemon Thai so it has to be all about making seeds with what I have. I have 2-f1 and 5-f2 seeds. I may try the f1s by themselves to see what I get and clone them and save pollen if I get a male. Then I’ll see if I got anything special from the f1 before I move on. It may change my strategies. I wish the sativa weren’t such commitments but with the virus and staying home mostly it seems like a great time to plant them. I don’t see this next year being a lot different and I’ve hardly left the house, and no overnight trips.
I also need to get more funds coming in to cover postage so I can share. I may have a small job this month that should help. I’m racing to get things harvested and trimmed. Overgrow!

I didn’t realize you could get lemon thai in seed form, a few people have told me it’s supposed to give you this wonderful beach holiday high type experience. Have been very tempted to try the lemon thai kush but I don’t really want the kush part😂

How long did it take to get to China? Whats the cannabis culture like there? Harsh penalties? Common to find it growing wild?
