Yeah I lost the best plant I ever grew because I didn’t bother with clones. Now every seed I pop gets cuttings taken and make sure they root before I’ll put any plant in flower.
Of course the constant clones take up room I could use for other things but to me I’d rather have the security of knowing if I find another special plant I’ll have a backup to run in the future.

I’m going to end up with at least one shelf dedicated to bonsai mothers. I’d like to find keepers of enough strains so I can just go forward with clones, I’d like to have a nice variety as a medicine cabinet and so I don’t build a tolerance to one strain.
But then there’s always the want for new strains and pheno hunting

Here’s a test germ of the first generation of Brutal Paw x’s had two slow starts and two pale seeds but other than that all vigorous growth so far. All goes well I’ll be handing some out in a few weeks.

Good information on the Sinai. What latitude are you at? Which pheno did you like better? Indica or sativa?

Kind of similar with my situation. I pollinate a branch on every plant. Years back I missed out on one of the best plants I ever grew, not pollenating because it didn’t look like a keeper… until Harvest Time. Never again.

Save and Back up everything! Lol. Yes it’ll be a problem at times, but storage space can be cleared up once the smoke report comes back. Nowadays making hard copies and sharing them seem to be all the rage for those true keepers haha.

@Instg8ter A fantastic idea, i was mulling over the same thought.
I’ve got 5 testers I’d like to send to someone who can put em to use asap; “Stripper Shoes”. A 10wk Sativa with floral notes and a cloyingly sweet undertone. It makes me horny and uppidy enough to come to with stripper shoes next to the bed, and usually a girl to go with them (one hopes)
