Give a man a cool title, and he had to make like 100 crosses and give them away! :joy:

Dude, you are seriously an outstanding individual.

My question is, do you pollinate your lowers, and leave most of your plant smoke able, or are you simply doing seed runs? I’m curious.

Hey @Instg8ter did you think any of those would finish before late October?

Most all are under 70 days inside, as far as parentage would suggest. I am at 42 N in Michigan and finished a Purple Thai and Ace Panama Red, most x’s are adding Indica hybrids to my Sativas.

I run a perpetual grow and mostly will single top , pollinate lowers and Have two apical Kolas for head stash. With the Choc. Thai seed run starting I had to clear a bunch From the big room So there’s no chance of cross pollinating the Thai plants, so I hit about 8 plants full to pull them early (should be few hundred seed a plant) with 5-6 different pollens I had collected and stored.

I try to pick plants that I think would have complimenting terp profiles mainly. Just started chucking pollen about 6 months ago and running from reg seed instead of cuts a year ago. Worked my way through most of the Foundation strains and on popular strains of my youth at the moment (Choc. Thai, Monkey Paw, just today I scored a humbolt heirloom cut of Skunk1!!!)

After the Landrace Mexican group run I will be working in an especially obnoxious cut of Exodus Cheese (UK) and doing a SKUNK hunt this season with some other interesting terp bomb strains I’ve tracked down.

I did pop some of my Thai collection to run and bx with the F3 Chocolate Thai Pollen:

Black Willie (Reeferman)
Full Moon (Nirvana)
Purple Thai (Snowhigh)
Purple Pineapple Thai (Mine)
Durban Thai Highflier II (Snowhigh)
Pineapple Thai (707)

Chocolate Thai Beta Female with a month or so to go according to breeders

We have acquired a large collection of his older gear for seed runs in the next few years. (20+strains) Landrace and early hybrids with his blessing to reproduce and share!! STAY TUNED…

Alright man, I have a ton of questions about how you pollinate the lowers and keep the tops seed free. I think I’ve heard plastic bags to contain the pollen and mist where I don’t want seeds, but we probably need to have further conversations about details.

I need to learn how to at least make a few seeds, safely.

Man, that’s killer about the Skunk 1. You definitely deserve that.

A little pollen goes a long way, have to wait until pistils start to form small nugs or plant may stunt. I take a small hobby brush and paint a bit of pollen on each sight of each branch I want seeded. Done in seperate room with main kolas bagged. Hit it with air hose before putting back in flower room so not to get cross or full pollination. Nickle size nugs are averaging 20+ seed.

So you blow off the area you just pollinated to get rid of any loose pollen. How long do you let her sit first? Some of the pollen is “stuck” after so long?

I think I could swing that. I’ll just have to leave the plants loose to be able to move them, instead of usi g a scrog net. I think I could swing that. Good insight man.

Pistils are sticky for just the reason of catching airborne pollen, once brushed your good just a quick dusting with air hose outside. If you want you can do again in a few days. If you pollinate right when hair start popping it may stunt the plant and you’ll get seeds but not much smoke.

Oh Wow, I been trying to find Nirvana Full Moon again for awhile! It was one of the first strains I grew and it had everyone asking if I laced it because they never felt like that before. It was a eery get lost in your dark thoughts, really mind twisted stuff. It was a 12-14 weeker as well. Good luck with your projects and thanks for sharing @Instg8ter! Hopefully I catch them when you drop them.

I plan on working it a bit with my other Thais. The taste is bold for a Thai and yes the buz hits life a freight train…it’s in my breeding box for sure…

Can’t wait to see what you come up with! That Snow High gear always looks so enticing. If you would ever be interested in f2 those Full Moon and didn’t have the time I would love to do it. I would share back with the community if they were interested. I just flipped 79 Christmas Tree bud repopulation for Useful but would love to bring the Full Moon back. Nirvana suggested their ‘Misty Haze when I asked about FM a while back. Haha
