Free Seeds & Free Clones Thread Vol. 1 (Closed)

When we moved out of the city we moved to Downers Grove which abuts Lombard. Small world.

Her uncle had office in Downers Grove…haha yeah, think we are gonna get up to Traverse this summer, have to get together and have a few Pops and some sweet smoke tests. Your gonna love it up there.

I can’t wait to get up there. I need fewer people and more nature. We fish, hike/explore, and sail so TC is gonna be great for us.

There’s so much up there to do and we’ve only done the obvious places like Sleeping Bear Dunes, which is amazing. So many musky, so little time!

Definitely need to get together. Looking forward to it.

Shoot me your addy and I’ll get that pollen out to you as soon as I harvest it. If I remember correctly, somewhere you said you cut it 15:1 with flour while most people say 10:1. Probably doesn’t much matter but I wondered if there was a specific reason for 15 that you’ve seen.

Thanks bruv.

Hello dear OG community.

I come from Germany, I am 29 years old and suffer from blood cancer.

My English is very, very bad, I wasn’t at school that much because I was always kind of sick

Germany is unfortunately a bit different. That’s why I grow cannabis illegally outdoors in summer to make ends meet. Because the medical cannabis from the pharmacy is unfortunately a bit too expensive for me …

Therefore I use Tarn Cannabis like Duckfoots strains, Automatics for cold to mild climates. I have already freakshow u here in the forum. ABC seeds are concerned about crossing their own camouflage plants.

Does anyone have Auto Duck regular here?
Or automatics for cold / mild climate left over that he could give?

Would be extremely friendly LG Kinx

Hey @Kinx! Man, I know native English speakers with far less command of the language than you seem to have.

Welcome!

I don’t think there is a regular version. Dutch Passion only sells fems. Do you want to make your own seeds?

Hmn yes you might come back to Auto Duck (fem) cross back with Ducksfoot (Reg). And then would you get a regular Auto Duck?:dizzy_face:

It’s not that easy unfortunately. The autoflower feature is recessive, so you will get a first generation that is regular but all photoperiod. When you cross the offspring, you will get 25% autoflowers in the next generation. If you select these and cross them again, you will get all regular autos.

You could make feminized seeds instead in just one generation by reversing one of the Auto Duck fems.

Welcome!

I agree with @allotment that it makes the most sense to grow some feminized S1’s. There are a lot of people here that know much more than I do, but in my experience silver thiosulfate (STS) seems like the most reliable means of reversing a female plant for pollen. The other common options are Colloidal Silver (CS) and Gibberellic Acid (GA) - I’ve had limited success with CS, and the one time I tried GA it didn’t work at all (probably my fault). A few years worth of seeds is fairly easy to get with just a little pollen smartly applied.

Of course there is no reason that you couldn’t start a breeding program, but it just might take a few years if growing outside (meaning, basically just one cycle per year).

Also, I wonder about the stability of these mutations that make Freakshow and Ducks somewhat easier to camouflage. Perhaps someone with a better sense of genetics could chime in about whether these aberrations are stable enough to pass along in a breeding program, or if they tend to get get “weeded” out in the process.

Good luck, and you have definitely come to the right place to get a lot of knowledge from good people!

Hello and welcome to the club! You will find many helpful and compassionate people here that are just full of knowledge. I’ve always wanted to grow Ducksfoot for the stealth aspect. Also, I find things that are unusual to be intriguing. If you make a grow log/journal I’d love to follow along!
