Edited, I see they are taken
I bought the glaciers of ice, liquid swordz, both Mac crosses also got the blueberry cheese too.
I’ve bought a few strains for them. I haven’t grown any out, but no complaints about service.
I bought 3 packs for 100 dollars free fast shipping and freebies so good service
I am growing some of their work outside this season so we will see and I will share

Guys, I am planning to germinate about 30-35 seeds upcoming week, and I need your advice on pots. I am gonna plant 20 autos and about 5-7 reg photos.
I don’t know if I will choose fabric pots or plastic coz fabrics are cheap, but they aren’t waterproof on the sides. I need a clear direction about the sizes, width, length, plastic or fabric and size.
But I know this channel is about free seeds.
So please move to my own garden threat if you an help
Thanks
I dont think the pots being waterproof matters, as far as fabric pots go. From what I have found, use fabric pots and bottom-water them. Also, size kinda depends on your grow space. On Photos, I’ve used 3 Gal, 5 Gal, and 7 Gal. 7 Gal is way too big for my grow space (narrow but long), 5 is close but doable. With Autos, I’ve noticed them getting way bigger towards the end in a 5Gal than the photos, but I had more control over how long I vegged I guess? So I generally stick to 3-5Gal. Also, a great thing to use for bottom-watering fabric pots, gets some of the cheap plastic pans for changing your oil from walmart or an auto parts store, they have taller side walls and a little pour spout on one side, works really well!
Welcome dr to OG
Welcome to Overgrow @drgreenbum2626! I haven’t tried my 3 gallon cloth pots yet, certainly have heard good things about them but thinking I need a larger tent as my 2 smallish tents getting overgrown by plants in 2 gal and less pots. 5 gal is overkill for my indoor, I think 3gal is about right.
I use 5 gallon for my indoor auto soil grows myself. Just seems to work best for me. I use the oil pans as @drgreenbum2626 but buy them at the Dollar Tree for a buck a piece
I love the fabric pots, you do have to water a lot more. I run a lot of little bonsai through my 3x3 to test strains for my medical use and use the 1-5 gallon pots depending on what I’m doing. I cut holes in the top rim and just tie my LST lines there no problems. A lot of water usually pours out the sides because the soil dries out quicker but I just let it fill up the removable floor pan from the tent and this allows the pots to soak the extra water up from the bottom. I do have to clean the tent floor once a week or so because I’m using Neptune Fish and Seaweed Fert and it’s got a little stank to it
Welcome to OG!
I got some Costa Rican and gt prints to swap for some beans. I’m trying to find an afgoo or sweet island skunk. I’m not picky though…
Dude, Dollar Tree is where I bought my first 2 oil pans! Then none of the other stores around my area had any in stock, so I had to go with OH, OH, OH, O’REILYYYYYY (oh riiiiiileeey). Couple bucks more but still worth.
I also just poke holes in the top rim of the pot to tie down LST lines, very easy. I will say, I try and start with wet soil when I first transplant into the fabric pots, and then try and just bottom feed them from then on. What I noticed is when you see the water sliding out of the sides of the fabric, the soil is too try to soak up water fast enough underneath where its leaking out, and that can inhibit root growth. Not to mention the goddamn fungus gnats lol.
Thanks for putting that jingle into my head for the foreseeable future!
Love your poor-boy style my friend. See? Right there is stuff that make you scratch your head and say “now why didnt I think of that?”
Good stuff!
I use binder clips and twist tie wire around the rim of my containers. @SmknCanuck brought it up in his auto training post
Or I “built” this for my mini manifold training. The inner branches are held just with the paperclips stuck into the pot
Those are all great ideas. I am always looking for quick, easy and cheap solutions for common problems. I really have not been around long enough to find all the little gems like this!
I still say Good Stuff!
Heck yeah. I have a bin of binder clips sitting on top of my small tent. I use them for everything! They are one of the best problem solvers out there
