It’s a bit h getting them out unless they are super tiny beans…so…yeah…your attempt to expose failed.
I use bubble lopes from dollar general, 2 for $1.45.
Push everything to the bottom and fold bubble envelope in half and put adhesive strip on the back.
Plus stamp to mail $1.30 total, priceless.
You get twice the protection and plenty of room for addy and return.
Cheap Bic pens are nice, coin holders, signage material.
Blocks of styrofoam put into a flat rate box

The bubble envelopes don’t go through a roller and that’s why postage is more. Never had anything smashed in a bubble envelope. You have to keep the package under 3/4” thick. It’s not priority but gets treated the same except for a day or two longer to ship. Just put them in something to keep them from rattling around in the envelope. Paper towels, layer of bubble, etc.
