I’m trying to decide the best time to post the sign up thread so that everyone ha s a shot. I’m thinking Sunday night at like 8 EST would be the best time.

I’m interested too (in all preservation runs, really), but I’m not at all pressed for seeds to grow right now; would it be better to wait for the winter or spring box, whichever is next, and sign up for that once I hit trust level 2? I did see someone posting pictures of the seeds they’ve been sent recently and GDP was among them, I’d certainly love to get some of that and haven’t seen any preservation runs going for it, though that might be a connection error between the computer and chair.
How do the boxes work for those preservation runs anyway, does Sebring keep seeds from previous runs available? If so I probably shouldn’t be trolling this thread looking for stuff from preservation runs anyway. 
Sorry, no idea what the etiquette around here is and I’m a budding strainaholic, no pun intended… gotta get that next fix of IBL/landraces, even if I end up with too many to grow in a lifetime and a half! I’ve stocked up on mylar bags, silica packs and oxygen absorbers to use for cold storage already, since I have a bunch from Mark and a few from seedbanks lined up to vacuum-pack and put in the freezer.

Hey bud, I see you joined just yesterday so stick around a bit and I am sure seeds will find you. As for the CO-OP seeds, let me try to explain.
There is no spring and fall box to sign up for but rather just individual CO-OP runs. The following is how this works.
Someone does a CO-OP seed run.
They create a sign up list and users sign up. This is for TL2 and TL3 users.
When seeds are done they are shipped to Sebring for distribution. There is a distributor for each country. Sebring distributes to the USA and also to the distributors in each country.
Twice a year around spring and fall a box is put together with seeds from each CO-OP run that was sent in.
Those who signed up provide addresses and pay a $2 to $2.50 per strain donation (this amount is due for each individual sign up), depending on location, as well as pay for the shipping cost to have items shipped to them.
Once paid the distributor packages all strains you have signed up for and ships them to you.

No problem, I wasn’t pushing to get them immediately; as I said in the rest of the message above, I have plenty of seeds for now and probably plenty to keep me going for years. At this point, it’s more about collecting than anything else, though I’m set up to preserve and keep viable whatever I collect.
Ah, ok, I thought it was more centralized than that. So previous preservation runs with lists already full won’t be available through him, just through the grower themselves, I guess… which makes sense, considering that you were the one offering the PPP seeds from your own preservation run. Duh. Like I said, new and not particularly clear on the etiquette. Thanks for the explanation, that’s much more clear… though a bit disappointing to the collector in me, since it seems I’ve also signed up too late for all the BOG preservation runs and won’t ever be able to get them in future boxes. Oh well, I suppose I’ll survive. First world problems, huh?

Well I would not go that far bud. Right now there is a Sour Strawberry run that has not posted a sign up list, also a BOG Sour Bubble and Sour Grape run. There are a bunch of BOG runs going right now which have not had sign up sheets yet, you are not too late. You will need to engage around here to get to TL2 in order to be eligible to sign up but that will come naturally as you interact with the site.

I’m basing the flowering time off the Chocolate Thai mother I got the seeds off of. I’m not sure if the Orange Grove father will have any input on flowering length but I’m hoping so. I listed the 16 just so people knew what they’re in for if it takes after it’s mother

Oh, maybe I just didn’t read them all closely enough. I saw that your Sour Bubble was closed to signups before I joined, I’ll have to keep an eye on the Sour Strawberry. I’ll be TL2 in two weeks once I hit 15 days active, otherwise I’m already past all the other engagement measures just by virtue of having nothing to do and posting all day.

Maybe what I saw was your PPP run then, who knows. Getting lost in all the options. It looks like I’m already following that thread, so I guess I’ll just sit back, read and LITFA. Hard work sometimes!
