I just use a point and shoot for the trichome shots and they are taken handheld. I bought it used a few years ago but for whatever reason it now costs substantially more than it retailed at. There’s also an issue with the camera where a red dot appears in every image - but for my uses it’s not an issue… I saw there is a newer version of the camera but no clue how it compares. It’s an amazing tool for checking trichs or looking at bugs.
