i love the contrast between her buds and the leaves. thats gorgeous. im more familiar with the gelato style black leaves against green buds. this is a first for me

Well, my plant is finally done. Calling for another night of 32deg here. She’s made it through a few of those, but I’m getting wicked busy, so cut the rest of her today.
Since I only grew one photo this summer, I had the luxury of cutting the outside/ripened buds first, and saving the rest for later, so constantly trimming “in” to the center, if that makes any sense.
Anyway…here she is, with her beautiful fall foliage:
