100% if they don’t die now I don’t know what will be next. The AJ SD, motorbreath 15, and VBBXBBM X BSHW were all covered up in webs and had some really shitty leaves. The Viet black crosses had some bad leaves. Can’t wait for them all to spring back just in time to go in my tent for flowering.

Well I’ve tested the BB cross and the GC cross. The BB cross is a definite keeper. Very positive uplifted head high with very little sedation. I wanted to do stuff. I can’t wait to cure it out and get the BB flavor without the hay/grass taste. I’ll have pics of them after dry and trimmed. But definitely keeping her.
The GC X BSHW I smoked a bowl of last night.
This bud specifically. It was a pleasant smoke. My wife said the ground up flower just smelled like any other ground up flower, but while I smoked it she recognized it as the “meat” smell. She said aside from weed in general she smelled “fried chicken that is old or slightly off”.
The high was all in my head and very energetic. We went to Walmart and I had, for the first time ever, to talk myself through standing and waiting while the lights were bright and the people were weird and such. I will say it is not go out into the wide world smoke for me. Going to try it while fishing or gaming, but I am not going to pregame with it as a general rule.
I still have the other GC cross to test and the SD, Motorbreath, and SSH to test yet.
Edit to say. I did not find seeds in either of those test buds but they were lowers and might’ve developed after I plucked the boy parts from the GC. Could also mean the pollen was infertile.

I totally feel your pain… i have grown so damn impatient waiting for this chop…
I quick cured a bud and tried it after like 8 days… still a harsh grassy… flavor is getting there bigtime but still that damn harsh grassy…
I like the buzz but it made me cough my damn face off lol… so its gonna be soooooo damn hard to watch this cure for about 40 days before really digging in… and trying it out. Oh the trials and tribulations of being a grower

Watered thursday. Went looking today.
Cant tell if the mite i saw was alive or not. But the damn fungus gnat is alive and well. Tomorrow they get the mosquito bits water and then a new diatomaceous earth powdering.
The leaves are coming back though.

Thanks for the heads up. I did it outside last time and just did the drywallers sanding trick.
This time I skipped the de. I took the cups outside again and sprayed them all down with peroxide water. Then I watered them with the mosquito bits water as per directive. I also added the mosquito bits on top of the soil in the cups and mixed a bunch into my reclaimed soil that I mixed the last of the new ffof soil into. Hopefully they’ll be dead and I won’t have to fight them any further.
So then since I was up early today and had lots of time I went ahead and trimmed down the hanging limbs. The tent plants were nice dense flowers. The outdoor were super larfy. I didn’t water them enough this summer since I spent it all on the road. Oh well.
The VBBXBBM X BSHW (if @JustANobody gave you these seeds you’ve got gold in them) smelled so good while I was trimming it! I cannot wait for a couple months to pass! I kept a zip of flower from it and the GC X BSHW and had 1.3oz and 1.6oz of trim and lowers respectively. The outdoor came up to a little more than an oz for all three plants, but that super silver haze! When I trimmed it up it smelled like diesel and gas. I was shocked but it is mom #2.
So I up potted one of the SSH and one of the VBBXBBM X BSHW for mothers. The others in the closet are just waiting for the ones in the tent…
…to show sex. I put them in under 12:12 to trigger them so I can cull the boys I don’t want and up pot the ones I do for another flower run.

Have you done the momentary switch to 12/12 before to sex? I should have done that this current run, would have saved me some heart ache .

This is my first attempt. It’ll save me vegging males and getting excited for them just to have to kill them also it lets me move up in pot sizes right at the begining.

I read somewhere people doing it for 4 days. I figured that where I’d start. I don’t really want them to go so far in that the do a reveg. At least not a big one.
This is their first time seeing night. They’ve been under 24hr from seed.
