Just got home from work, exhausted but here’s a small update!
Little update on my “tent” moved some things around and found out I have a little spot for one more 1gal pot. The question is to drop or not to drop.
Edit: I couldn’t leave it alone so I dropped the Red Mimosa XL from Sweet Seeds that I got from @JonPott
Some close ups of the plants
Also the Red Mimosa XL popped its tail in 24hrs so I dropped her into her new home.
Hey folks, sorry for the delay here’s an update on my “tent”
Okay folks this is going to be my last update before my vacation, hopefully my house sitter doesn’t neglect my babies but I doubt they will.
The Overview
Froberry
Scarlet Runtz
Cherry Paloma x Lavender Jack (my ugly duckling)
Scoutcicle
So the Froberry is doing great, going to let her ride until I get back from my vacation then she’s going to get the chop. The Scarlet Runtz is already taller than my Froberry and getting frosty. The Scoutcicle and my ugly duckling (Cherry Paloma x Lav Jack) are doing great, I topped Cherry P x Lav Jack couple days ago and she’s booming with new growth. Unfortunately the Red Mimosa didn’t make it… I woke up one day and she was dead. I don’t know if I under/over watered her but there was no saving her. RIP. But i dropped a Black Buffalo from @ChinookKing, it’s under the water bottle humidity dome
Hope you will find them healthy and good looking as they are now , enjoy your holidays…
Thank you brother. I’ll try my best to enjoy it, I have to catch my first flight at 4am
Back from vacation is and holy crap did my tent overgrow
Forgot to add the Scarlet Runtz lol
Nice stuff, @Gato. That Froberry is one huge bud!
It’s really massive, I took her out and letting her finish off in the dark/cold to hopefully get some color. I’m definitely cutting the huge nug when drying to minimize mold
I was afraid of this happening but it happened, I was checking the main cola and it showed signs of mold… so it had to go. The other buds seem to be fine but the huge nug is gone… rip
It was a terrible feeling finding it but you’re right better safe than sorry. What’s an efficient way to dry them ? @George
The best way is hanging down in a dark tent with a low constant breeze of a fan, humidity between 50 to 60%, finally temperature between 55 to 65 degrees Fahrenheit (12.8-18.3 degrees C), until bud is a bit crispy outside but still spongeous when you press it…
Thanks for the advice @George, I made another cardboard box tent with a hygrometer, damprid and a small fan on low. The current RH is in the high 50s and my temp is in the low 60s. Decided to do it on my birthday because why not
It’s a wonderful birthday gift, nice harvest and setup, enjoy it …
Thank you @George hopefully I don’t mess it up somehow lol.
Happy Birthday ! @Gato
Thank you @chronix
