Wow, that’s a beautiful selection!

I prefer harvesting just before ripening, it beats the squirrels and raccoons and they ripen just fine indoors.

Tokyo Bekana for reference …kinda fits perfect between lettuce and greens. Those 3 in a 3 gallon pot make what you see every 10 days to 2 weeks.

I will admit that cannabis growing has turned me on to popping hybrid seeds where ever they are from. As a result I break the rules and plant the grocery store seeds. “It wont be the same as the parent” yes thats the fun part! I currently have a kiwi seedling and some sungold kiwi seeds stratifying. My current interest strawberries. Collected some seeds from these bad boys, we’ll see what I get in a couple weeks/months.

I don’t think I’ve tried to link a post before so here goes nothin’…
More of the butternut squash seeds described here are ready:

Send a DM, or PM, a 3M or whatever the hell the kids are calling it these days if you’re interested.
I can try to do international, but only 2-3 seeds will fit in a flip. Your envelope may only contain 8-9 seeds total… them’s the breaks. If you’re in the US, you’ll get probably 25-30 in a bubble mailer.

Sooo we got 3 yards of soil!

FILLED the 3x2x35 ft raised bed & the 2.5x1x16 ft bed & the 4x2x8 ft bed AND still had to build a new 4x2x4 ft bed, just too use up the soil. The soil is triple mix, Peat moss + Compost + Soil.

Here is the Beds + Plants in sections.
First the a 16ft section with grapes (gotta build trellises)

Next to the grapes we have 3x Thornless raspberries (2 varieties) & 1x Cherry :cherries: bush.

Next to that we have a thornless Blackberry & a nice Blueberry bush.

We dumped 30 liters of Goat POOP :poop:  like in this photo. into each bed, not directly under any roots, so it can break down further over winter, we have had this in bags this whole summer aging.

Maybe i forget to mention, but when we built this whole garden, I wanted to ensure enough water was held inside the ground. Sooo We dumped 16 inches of woodchips on the grass, then built the garden ontop of that. So now because ive put poop inside the front of each bed, it will leach into the ground, under the wood of the beds and into the roots of the trees & of course into the roots of the plants in each bed. Im basically using the woodchops under the beds as an active SIP. Literally the whole 500sqft garden is a water holding sponge, that every bed & tree has access too. Cool huh.

Here is the 4x2x8 and the 16ft section at the back fence filled up.

We started training the fruit trees & staking them ensuring winter winds dont crack them in half or anything.

In the front yard, the Pigeons are visiting because of the bird feeder out front.
@Pigeonman I call this one helmet head lol

Ohh yeah, we moved everything in dam buckets.

DUDE GREAT WORK AND I CAN SEE YOUR PLANTS ARE GLOWING FOR YOUR EFFORTS!

 :+1:

I do have to lol your bucket brigade as I had hope you’d have found a used wheelbarrow by now considering all your terraforming this season.

Next year it’s gonna EXPLODE with growth!

Thank you brother  I appreciate your blessings :raised_hands: We busted our butts getting this dream into a reality. Still alot left to do (in spring)

For now, finish off the dirt pile and put this garden to sleep for winter with a blanket of tree leaves (have to collect them) but before that, on Thanksgiving we will plant All our newly acquired Garlic bulbs that we collected from 4 different farms & 3 varieties.

Ive got some lumber coming tomorrow, gotta burn it and store it for the winter, its to build a DIY Garden Archway/Door into the garden.

AND we are likely expected to build a New 3x2x45 ft raised bed, the length of the backyard & a 12ft x 12ft deck to place our pop up gazebo on next year. Then build a walkway along side the garage. We are TRYING to use up grass space, so we have a small 15x15 ft patch of grass left in the backyard

@Boozer hahah I hear ya man, this wasn’t actually as bad as when we moved the 7 yards of woodchips with the same buckets, took DAYS with just 2 people.

We always appreciate everyones opinions, we love this stuff. Cant wait for next spring, besides all the vegetables, we are gonna grow a good amount of Cannabis in 5gal buckets, the same buckets that helped build this garden.
