Yeah man and Coco coir is cheap! It is messy to expand, strain, and buffer, but I can’t beat it. Even the fabric pots have come way down lately
I buy this. Buffered calcium nitrate. Works like a champ. Been using it 2 years now.

damn brother, dna’s la con was finicky for me, i was also a complete idiot then. didnt get pm but was a circus the whole run.
mine are currently getting the first rain showers so first real pm stress test.
Rain up north huh. Cool here not any rain in site. I’m going to hit mine with the shower spray on my Aqua Joe. I have constant wind though.
I hate the bricks of coco. Haha. I’m going to drive to where I know it’s still decently priced and load up my car with as many bags as I can fit. $10-$15 per bag is what it should be and still is in decent shops. LA Confidential was awesome. I’d love to try that throwback these days. If the four cut deal was mix and match, I’d be super tempted. I’ll catch a sale from one of these places and grab some eventually. Agent Orange was super tasty. Some older stuff is always fun.
I grew one in 07 tasted like a bag of oranges went off in my mouth.
yea im so dumb storm was coming west not east ha, its coming back around in a bit for another shower i think. nothing major so far but PM is everywhere in the neighborhood so well see.
That is right. Your smack dab in the city. Little to no wind? Buildings everywhere. Seems early for PM WTF. I’ve never had it. Don’t want it.
Yeah but the bricks cost me 20 or less on Amazon and they make 16 gallon. About .50 in Calmag to buffer and I can have happy plants. Definitely messy though, but better to me than those stupid clay pellets everywhere
i find it all over those weed berries, like boisonberry or something? my neighbor has a ton of them growing into my yard i just chopped back and there was PM everywhere, clones are like 10 yds away from there lol.
You guys need to clean that neighborhood out of that shit. Start choppin.
neighbor takes good care of the yard i just think he forgot it was back there lol so i dont say anything and just cut it back hes a cool guy. going to spray that alley with sulfur hopefully tonight.
Better do some serious recon before bloom starts. You guys never make it without some rain.
Mix and match and even I can’t resist…
Thank you! Do you have test results for any of them? I don’t see any mention of THC-V in the descriptions. I have seeds for a number of strains that are supposed to be high in THC-V, but it varies quite a lot per plant and I have no access to testing. So, I was hoping to buy clones (to grow starting in September) that are already proven.
that’s a scary thought right there, PM is one of the worst things i ever dealt with. the stuff just hangs around and stick to everything. i hope i never ever see that shit again in my garden, back in 2016 it almost took me totally off the boards. i lost back to back grows form that stuff, it was a freaking nightmare.
very scary …
I’ve only grown outdoor in terrible climates so I’m used to it I guess. The only place I saw it indoors was actually Los Angeles. The talk was always that there was a “super PM strain” circling around clone shops and traveling through the air. All my buddies besides one got it, guys would toss their entire grow gear on the side of the road.
Grew green crack clones from the dirtiest cheapest clone shop in the city outdoors 200 yards from the ocean, no PM or anything. In my experience strain selection is huge, also @JoeCrowe’s spray regimen seems to really work.
Slaughter mildew like a baby in it’s cradle! No mercy! Old testament style etc! 15 cents worth of sulfur and mildew problems are in the rear view mirror for sure.
I freaking love my Octopots so much. Even in peak growth with a plant sucking down 1.5 gallons of water per day, you only have to fill the rez every 3 days. Off-peak I can leave town for 5 days with zero worries. Octopots doubled my average yield too. I’ve had 12 and 13oz harvests.
I hope you enjoy yours!!! They really are like a cheat code. Use an inert soil mix (I like ProMix HP), then the only thing to figure out is nutrients (I like Jack’s) and pH. The plant will consume as much water as it needs on its own.
I’ll talk to my growers and see what I can do about getting their results. I also think that we should post our results for each strain on our website in the product description so I’ll hop on that as well.
