In a couple of weeks, I will be moving the Lemon Betty and two other plants into the flower tent. The tent is occupied by a lovely Supafreak couple doing their thing.
I was ready to pull the trigger on the dessert pack. But I think Iāll wait a bit
I was looking at the mix and match when it was available but not all strains were available
Isolating and treating doesnāt solve hplvd though, if weāre all having healthy clones until mid flower when they get sick stands to reason maybe we all got the viroid from them. Not accusing them of anything but wouldnāt trash archive without growing their clones out, the ones I originally sent out from them are all healthy and some in mid flower already.
That is too bad pal, donāt you think they will follow the other states and legalize?
Iām not trashing archive. They just donāt have the selections I want to drive 120 miles each way for. Iām just going to order a couple sun clones and grow them out with the the ones I get from Jet. I will do a grow doc. Plant health is a personal growers issue. Get your cuts from wherever you want. This plant HPV scare is so rare. I will take my chances. You still have to take anyone by their word that their mothers are being tested frequently for HPV.
They will eventually legalize. They are watching all the coin Canada is bringing in with federal legalization.
Looking forward to you flowering these out.
unless they publicly publish the test results, which is becoming more common.
Archive staff said they test all their clone lines for hlvd for olcc compliance.
Not sure if that means testing the mothers every time they sell a batch of clones, or testing each cloneā¦ Iāll ask about their process next time. But youāre getting a clean and tested plant from archive.
edit- maybe Iāll run my own tumi genomic test on archiveās blueberry so we can validate that. but the tests arenāt cheap so I try to only use them when necessary to keep my grow safe.
Maybe trashing is harsh, archive sells out fast the rare cuts are there for a day or two, you have to check the menu daily which is boring and easy to forget about after a few weeks of doing it each morning. But the limited stock also allows them to perform a more thorough quarantine. I donāt think Iāll get clones from anyone who has 100 strains in stock nursery or not til I know for sure the hlvd thing is over.
Personally Iād just run jets cuts man, again not trying to trash sun-clone but you can see clearly jets are clean and high quality, why risk the contamination?
Also, indoors maintaining canopy is key so I rarely ever ran more than 2 strains at once, usually just one so I could SOG style.
I had mites before I got their clones. Iāve never had mildew problems, the one time I saw it on other batches of clones from trades were swiftly dealt with using sulfur powder. All new plants get a soapy sulfur dip/bath and havenāt seen a sign of it since.
Anyone else notice the SAME picture for each Clone? SS/BWā¦mister
Its getting to be common that is for sure. Iām all for more tests. Anything that insures better plant health is key in my book.
Iām going to run 2 sun clones and 2 of Jets. After they all go thru isolation, scoping and redundant treatments for PM and Pests. Lets see what happens. My gut tells me nothing but dank flower.
Yeah, they are using Next Gen nursery grow pics and flower pics. I noticed that 3 weeks after this thread started. They are another grey market branch is my guess. All the Next Gen clones I have grown out have been fire. DJ Short blueberry I am growing now the jury is still out.
I noticed their black dog 8 week flower pic was the same as Next Gens.
They have since changed this pic.
They are definitely not ran by Next Gen. I check local stock from dispos daily for clones in the Portland area and they will stock clones at SC within a month of them being stocked at a dispo on the east side often. They are buying the clones from that dispo almost certainly.
Mt Hood Magic definitely came from a dispo on the east side.
They are not part of Next Gen. I asked him flat out 3 weeks after this thread started. Cuts and strains are the same as next gens though. Itās all about the 2018 hemp farm bill. Clones donāt have the %THC so with the Hemp Lic they can sell them just like they do their CBD product company āI thinkā @Dirt_Wizard posted above. Next Gen can only sell within the state of Oregon to OLCC lic med growers, dispos, and wellness centers.
Half these cuts arenāt from next gen, theyāre from dispos who donāt even label what nursery theyāre from half the time.
Why would a hemp farm nursery buy from a dispo? Common sense would make it the other way around.
Man they were asking you guys for strain suggestions then adding them super fast and they werenāt being added to the nursery menuā¦ they were sourcing them from all over the place.
Iām not even saying thatās bad, it is just extremely obvious to me.
Oregon has 1000ās of cuts in the clone network in this state. Most are provided by individual OLCC lic med growers. A nursery could never get an adequate supply of clones from any dispo in this state. Sorry not buying it. Plus dispoās sell retail and buy from nurseries. The math does not add up.
