Gorilla Glue 4 Recombinant Inbred Line

To add a little bit more
The G4 strain is a very potent Indica marijuana, which is also known as “Gorilla Glue”, “Original Glue”, “GG4” and “Gorilla Glue #4” strain. The percentage of THC – 22-25% –

Whoa.

I feel much higher than I am right now

Thanks for the run down GEMI…Interesting story none the less.

I don’t know who you are, but this reeks of someone trying wedge themselves into a story so they can sell seeds.
none of this has anything to do with the modern clone only cut known as gorilla glue #4, gg4, original glue, et al.
I am not saying you did not get weed in the 90s from Colorado that you called gorilla glue. I’m saying that weed has nothing to do with what everyone else calls gorilla glue.

Sorry you feel that way…

I had no intention of anygjkngbof that nature…not even sure how you came up.with that…we are talking 90’s and your telling me i am selling seeds. Good call…you nailed it…

Not even close to my intention…but run with it…and enjoy…

I was there for what was there for…whoever has their opinions…happy to read…

That was where i was at the time of being around first gen G4 strain…
I don’t need to explain…i was actually there…and whatever info you are saying …maybe be part of the drive…but ain’t got any reason to make a story up…nor do care if you believe me…

I lived my life as a straight up guy…got no reason to make it up…

Have a great day Positive Vibes

Hope you enjoyed knocking another member for a life story @antheis

It’s clear you are talking about a different line altogether with no relation to Josey Wales Gorilla Glue clone.
In Canada we have outdoor lines that also carry the “GG” in the name… I think there is even a GG#4 which stand for Guerilla Gold and not Gorilla Glue. It does confuse some folks.

But this here thread about Gorilla Glue 4 RIL has nothing to do with any 90’s G4 which is of no relation to Original Glue/GG4.

I think folks here are thinking that Gemi-connect is trying to say that The GG4 that is in the GG4 RIL has some ancestry to this “G4” . I don’t know if that is what he is doing but if so… he would be dead wrong. It’s obvious to a bystander who has done his homework that folks here are talking about 2 completely different lines with zero commonality between then save for a name.

i wholeheartedly enjoyed your anecdote, but i’m wary of anyone who says they had/have a popular strain or cut before it was even made.
when you come in with an unverifiable story that happened 25 years ago it sets off alarm bells in my head. why? because this is how all seed peddlers start - their dead uncle’s best friend’s wife’s third cousin had seeds in the freezer for the past 30 years.
and the cannabis seed game is rife with these types of people.
i am not saying are one of these people, but you have the same accent.

but i also said,

because i know that names get reused and, especially during prohibition, the same cut could have 6 different names depending on your region or who you knew. the opposite is also true, where 6 different strains have the same name even though they aren’t even close to being related other than being cannabis sativa.
