Micro Octo prep

3 screws to hold the 2gal in place - from the bottom

Small felt flaps- seems like minimum wicking.

Plenty sturdy - not using the 3 lid support posts (or the wicks) included in the micro Octo kit. I’ll add wicking if needed.

Thanks @MrRevolution
I need to find your grow log

3 Monkeys to the left.
4 Gorillas on the right.

:monkey: :gorilla:

The 4 Headbanger Gorilla seeds germinated quickly and popped big tails. (no pic)
While these 3 Monkeys were a little slower to crack and show smaller tips for the same time period.

That I can afford that. Can you do an in-depth photo journal of you hooking them up. Stuff you use and maybe links. I would love to set up 4 for the CF run males. I am a visual learning.

Show me Papa. Link me up

Where did you get the green line? Also the gang, what is the orange piece and the black think. I have no experience with any kind of water growing  Did you just use reg fabric pots and the little net pot and make the “sleeve” yourself? :upside_down_face:
:green_heart: :seedling:

Also can you or can you not use soil? The site says no.

The line is floraflex brand. It’s soft and flexible.

Using aquarium air manifold. This connects to my Lil res of nutes.

Different hose/nipple sizes. The orange hose fits the manifold then I adapt larger to black hose.

Inline valve on/off/control flow.

Purchased
2gal fabric pots
Net pots
Screws on hand.

Bottom of pot… Cut X in middle a little larger than the net pot. Assemble and attach from bottom with 3 screws.

(Here felt needs to be cut a little more)

The net pots I’m using above.

Not sure about using soil. Fingers crossed these work for me with coco! :man_facepalming:

These micro Octos are breeding like Tribble. (Sarcasm. Lol)

Green water level indicators “bobbers”
.
Brown support tubes and pon-like wicks. No plans to use.

those 315 cmh give you a nice 3’x 6’ area to work with i can see 8 of those mini octo-pots grow some big plants. especially since your using coco could have even used 1 gals imo. and then use the one large octopt under some LEDs haha

one of my favorite parts of growing is setting up the rooms lol and figuring out ways to utilize space!

They work well…
Space is only 44" wide.
8ft length, but I usually keep it to 4ft.
8ft ceiling.

I think 6 micros would be my max.

PAST GROW
Here I ran a 2 and 3 gal.

I was tempted to try 2 different bag sizes. Tall/narrow and Short/wide.
But I chickened out and kept them all the same.

If I need wicking I can go center, or drill thru the lids support tube holes - thru/into the fabric bag above.
