The c99 does ya. The website is much different then when I saw it last. It has more info. In the c99 info he does mention working it over several generations from the many pheno types it had when he was given it in 2010.

Found this while trimming some Coywolf. I realized it was there when I felt the scissors crush it lol

Actually smoking some SS now and think i know the smell you mean. Almost floral chemical but soft. One of my favourite sativas! Also your posts on RIU were part of what got me to try peak. Haven’t been disappointed yet.

That theory makes sense as how he breeds things into lines is mentioned often on the new site, but Not as much info on his c99 work.

Got a pack of c99 waiting so great to see your results.

Ya there is a smell to it . It is just like you said , very soft. I remember not thinking the SS got me very high until I had to be around or interact with anyone , then I quite quickly realized I was wrecked lol One of the clearest sativas I have ever smoked.

Haha first smoke was similar for me and then realized I was buzzing around the house like a humming bird on crack. I’m usually picky on the sativa side as some make me too tweaky. This one is so clear and then to me it feels like ive had a bunch of coffee.

Anecdotally, I also ran the ss x c99 as well and got 9 females. 7 c99 leaners were all grapefruit and then the 2 ss leaners both had the pineapple terps.

Should’ve said it before but that coywolf looks stellar and orange cream sounds delicious. You really prove @nube right on exploring those f2s and f3s

I haven’t ran the ss x c99 but have some . I ran the c99 x kush or kush x c99 as testers and thought that had a lot of promise. Each female I had was different with one being some really kickass grape bud. I still have a bunch of those . Was the most variation I have seen from a Peak strain.
I kick myself in the ass for not grabbing the Kush he uses when he was selling clones of it. That is a pretty old stellar BC cut , and I was shocked to even see he was selling it.
I have said it for many years , he is by far the most under rated breeder going. But knew what he was doing and ran crazy numbers compared to other " breeders " and made some super nice stuff along the way. 20 years with a 1994 website lol and zero advertising worked for him for a reason.

Ya man the f2’s , specifically the open pollinations F2’s of Bodhis gear is where the magic really is. Just opens up Pandora’s box of possibilities from the first mash he does.
I don’t currently have any Bodhi packs but if I did I would only pop them to make f2s and then hunt those.

So one of the cooler things I have seen over the years has been the pink and purple trichs that I had on a Roadkill Unicorn x Grand Master Tahoe made by @Torontoke . Apparently it is a known trait of RKU. Anyway I have been keeping a close eye on SUM#1 for any sign of purple and noticed this.
It is not as visable in these pictures as it is in person and even in person it still just looks like it might be lol
If you zoom in on the pics you can kinda see it

And WP #4 and #6 are clearing trying to communicate with their lord atm …

At day 24 from flip WP F2 #4 is the early frost queen

For comparison here is #6 that has similar structure to #4

I went on a deep dive today googling Wolfpack lol I did it once before and seeing so many people saying it was some of, if not the best they have ever grown is one of the reasons I f2ed it.
Anyway googling Geisel brought up this page . It has a few interesting tidbits of info. Like most things online I have no idea if they are true tidbits or not , but interesting nonetheless lol

PALATE: Citrus and orange peel meets classic skunky powerhouse technicolor flavor fireworks.

That’s a great find! And I love the pic:

It’s nearly the same cross as Wolfpack!

Wolfpack = Giesel (mass super skunk x chem d) x Appalachia (green crack [skunk#1 cross] x tres dawg [chem d bx2])

3 Dog Diesel = Giesel (mass super skunk x chem d) x (chem d x tres dawg [chem d bx2])

You’re not finding so much couchlock in your Wolfpack though, right? That’s the big difference I’m seeing, cuz the flavors sound pretty similar.

The 3 Dog Diesel is like a chem d bx4 with a little skunk mixed in. And the Wolfpack is almost like a giesel f2. Hard to go wrong when that level of genetics are involved.

:yum:

Ya its the first time that page came up lol I was like hey what is this ? haha

I don’t think I have had a single one I would call couchlock or sleepy weed at all. Might of been one last year but don’t remember it atm . They have all been very potent , feel good , super stoney , great highs. Even after indulging in lots they still haven’t been sleepy , just extra high lol

Happy to announce that over the past two days I have gone over ever single node of each WP F2 and SUM #1 and saw nothing that I don’t want to see. SUM #1 is closest to the camera and really did have almost no stretch lol

WP F2 # 5 along with stretching the most has stayed quite pale compared to the others and is another one that seems to enjoy its praying

SUM #1 is also slightly praying . I like the look of its leaves but maybe I should of pruned a few

I have left all the lowers on and even though it makes it an even bigger pain in the ass checking for balls and such , I did that because it will help with the revegging if I seen anything I think should be.

A couple 60 day Coywolf buds.

And I have started trimming WP F2 #2

Day 60 from flip and harvest day for c99 # 3. It smells just like I remember peaks SS smelling. All 3 c99 still have 10 days at least to go but I have other plants to run so my least favorite of the 3 got the chop today. I highly doubt I will be letting any of them go until done. Maybe the super funky pineapple one I might.
Anyway here is c99 #3 at chop

A few bud shots from the other two left.
This is the one that smells a bit like pineapple mixed with the ss smell.

And this is the super rotten pineapple funk one . The smell alone will probably make me let this one go till the end.

So I have come across something completely unexpected and I honestly can’t even believe I am about to type this , BUT lol
Wolfpack F2 #2 is the first plant I have ever grown that has RKS terps. Somehow these buds smell just like I remember the RKS terps way back when. It is very obvious , especially when squeezing a bud. The smell of the smoke is also incredibly RKS like. I went out to fill my birdfeeders this am after smoking half a doobie of it , and could not believe how bad my house stunk of straight skunk when I came back in. It had no smell of skunk while growing and instead had a very strong smell of what I have been calling musk/cologne type smell.

Keep us informed if it stays rks. I’ve got a pack itching to get run .
