Because of where I live that is not a reliable option for not freezing. I would send it express regardless . It just doesn’t cancel out my living in the middle of nowhere and the time it takes for it to get to a major heated facility.
Spring will be better
I really like SUM #1 . It has the same milky candy heart smell the plant it came from had . It is starting to frost up and along with colored trichs it also looks it could have purple calyx .
After smoking a few doobies of it I have culled both cuts of c99 #3 . The smoke isn’t a complete bust, it is def sativa, but it just doesn’t stand out for any reason.
I will most likely be harvesting the remaining 2 c99 tomorrow. The stinky one is quickly looking done.
All the cuts I took of Koko , SH , and c99 #2 have rooted. Still no sign on the Coywolf cuts.
Just wanted to make a note that WP F2 #2 is in a mix that has roughly half the Alfalfa meal and Fishbone meal as usual.
At day 65 from flip c99 #1 got the chop. It is back to having very little smell and I am guessing it easily would of gone well over 70 days . My expectations of this one are pretty low and I imagine I will also be tossing the clones of this.
Also at day 65 from flip c99 #2 got the chop. Based on trichs this one is actually ready . This is also the super stinky pineapple one . Its buds are also fairly more dense then the other two. Now that the cuts of the cut of this one are rooted I will be transplanting the older one next.
I like the weird little nub lookin thingy on the top left of this bud lol
Looking sweet. I really like the nodular bud structure. My WW did something similar and it was awesome.
While watering WP F2 #7 this am I noticed a nice bright green nanner in one of its main " buds " . Couldn’t find any any where else on it and couldn’t find it again outside of the tent for a picture lol Anyway it has been chopped and burned. It had an incredibly strong burn your nose javex type smell. Other then that there was nothing worth keeping about it. In fact its flower development has been pathetic much like the last one I culled.
I have a lot of transplanting to do with only 7 plants in there atm lol
WP F2 #4 was moved into the corner and tied to it. It was starting to lean on day 34 from flip. It also had pretty weak branches for such a large plant.
These two buds are the difference between one getting strong light and one getting almost none. Hard to believe they are on the same plant lol
Strong light
Low light
I also top dressed the hungry WP F2 with fishbone meal working it well into the soil before watering.
Dude, though… That “low light plant” pic, even if the flower development isn’t as great as the other, is a really good pic. You can see, like, every single individual raised trichome stalk out on those fans. Nice pic.
Ya I finally caught it at the right angle lol The other odd thing is on some of the buds the hairs also went orange like that a few days back. But not on others. I really don’t think it is pollination as the hairs aren’t dying or shrinking into the calyx. I also don’t think it is as when I made the F2 and let multiple full male plants do their thing , it didn’t produce changed hairs like that . I wish it did. Wouldda been twice the seeds haha Just some weird thing lol I did start to notice it after one particular cool lights off.
Here I will share it alone to make zooming easier
Yeah, they don’t look pollinated. Plants’re gonna do what they’re gonna do, I guess. Maybe the low light has something to do with it.
You don’t move the pots around the tent ever? Every time I water, I kinda do a sorta “snake” thing so that every plant gets directly under the lights for a few days each week. Kind of. I lose track of which plant was where sometimes haha. I dunno if it makes a difference or if it increases flower production or whatever, but I feel like all of the plants should get a decent amount of light for at least a few days.
It is definitely a bitch moving the pots out of and back into the tent every time I water, though haha.
I don’t move them around so much as rotate them. But once they are done stretching and established I usually let the light focus on the more advanced parts . I tend to keep the taller plants along the edges and shorter ones in the middle. With the shades I am using it seems to be the best use of the light.
This picture shows the two buds. The low light one is the one in the corner . It was also in the corner when the plant was on the other side. The other one is the one in the middle.
I have been thinking about this only because I got a bunch of cuttings for a preservations run. They got some frostbite.
After smoking a lot more of the first c99 I can say it is actually a really good sativa. Very up high with a great mood enhancer and seems quite long lasting. I have been really enjoying it.
I don’t think I have ever seen a leaf go from yellow back to green before , but this one sure is trying to lol
If this fills out they are gonna be quite large
And just because her colors are so pretty . SUM #1 . Glad I have 4 more seeds of this. I will also def be taking cuts of the 3 still in the veg tent , before flipping them. #1 will be revegged as it smells exactly like its momma and that was the best Bodhi smoke for me so far.
