Growin' and Chuckin'

Day 32, Sour Altoids get laid with Wing Wang Sour d x Sour d bx3 (TopDawg). I hit one of the main branches, touching each bud with a pollen studded Q-tip yesterday and today. I hit the Wing Wang female as well and will hit it again tomorrow when more sacs open.

Very nice! Was the pollination successful?

Always. The seeds have another week or two before they’re ready. But I’m so excited to grow them. My plan is to find a male Sour Altoids and hit the Sour d bx clone. This entire section is full of seed. The is evolving but right now, it smells like Sour skunky pine with a little candy.

Here’s the Sour d x Sour d bx3. It’s not a large yielding plant, but it is a high quality sour d. I have a clone of a male and will be collecting more Sour d bx pollen and will probably hit all my diesel hybrids with it. I also have several cuts I’m handing out to friends, in case I take a vacation and shut down.

These Cherry Wine seeds are the worst. Out of 25 seeds, only one germinated after 10 days of soaking. Every Valley Vixen x Cherry Wine popped after 3 days and are doing fine. To compensate, I threw some Ponderosa Pine seeds in the water and several have cracked open after two days. Ponderosa Pine is Sour Diesel bx4 x Sour Altoids.

Little update. Transplanted these teens today. They’re looking good and the smell in the tent is sooo pungent!! Burnt rubber and skunky funk

4 days after the transplant, plants are taking off. I turned the led up to half strength today. Plants did not like the extra light. Turned it down to 1/4 strength after 5 or 6 hours, and the plants are happy again.

Removed fans from the Pinot Noir, to allow side branch growth. Topped at the third internode, the top two branches will be my clones, leaving four side branches to fill in. Ponderosa Pines are catching up and my lone Cherry Wine looks good, but definitely a bit slower than the rest.

Plants looked a little down today, so I turned up the light to half strength and they’re popping again. Transplanting into 5gal pots on Friday.

Plants were getting a little root bound so I transplanted today. Ponderosa Pine (Sour Altoids x Sour d bx4) will be hit with Sour d bx4 pollen. I tossed the Cherry Wine, not trusting the company I purchased from A friend hooked me up with a pack of cbd seeds.

All males culled. Still working with the Sour Diesel bx4 pollen.

Clones are Jet Fuel G6 and Jealousy.

In the tent:
3 Valley Vixen x Tiger Beat
4 Sour Altoids x Sour d bx4 - pollinating 1 med sized nug on each plant with Sour d bx4
1 Jet Fuel and 1 Jealousy- just added and will be fully pollinated with Sour d bx4.

Noting there is only a couple inches of stretch after the flip, on both Sour Altoids and Ponderosa Pine.

Gonna be quite the show in a few weeks when they take off . Great healthy looking room you got happening.
Is that a muffler on your fan bottom is a carbon filter what’s the top one?
That jet fuel clone in the single pic I like how you cut it gonna make for some nice structure.

Yes it’s a muffler. It cut about 50% of noise from the fan. I love it. Thanks. Yeah thing are just starting to take off now. I’m several months from opening my seed company. Exciting times!!

Hey there! I have been trying to find Jet Fuel G6 everywhere & have been failing epically. I grow with my mum in IL & it’s her fav strain. We both had surgery recently & a family member was supposed to be taking care of our babies, long story short they didn’t survive :weary:, & we were both pretty bummed. We are big gardeners, so we really taught ourselves most of what we know but this is going to be my first season growing outside after getting my cultivation certificate so I’m really stoked to teach my mum & apply our new knowledge. Anyways I’ve been looking for seeds or clones & this post was one of the first things that popped up when I was searching. So I registered & you’re my first post on the site :relaxed: Any tips on where I should be looking? Not sure where you’re located but any help would be appreciated. Thanks so so much. Those plants are awesome btw.
