Did you melt with just got water in a bottle? How did you whip it? Sorry bud you’ve answered this I haven’t quite made it through your first thread.lol

I put the dehydrator on 60C and put it in there to melt, so I could whip it. That was a suggestion from marcus “bubbleman”.

I used your broken wrist technique to make hash works great. I pulled hash out of bag and put in freezer. Should I let these thaw then use use an shredder to break up the hash so it dries better or just leave them in chunks and keep them in the freezer? Thanks man!

The smaller you can get the pieces the better! That’s the secret to freeze drying.

Ok so I took out of the freezer and grated down but left out of freezer. It’s all dry and hard now. Is this when I’d roll it into a ball or at least press together or leave as is?

Just rip it now, it should be dry. I leave it as a dust in the freezer!

So here’s my though how come premature weed is so bunk but hash made from it isn’t !.

I find if the buds are harvested too early they taste green and nasty. I’m sure that doesn’t apply to the trichome caps themselves. They are smaller, and make a little different product from my memories of harvesting plants after 4 weeks.

I’m really wanting to get set up to make some hash. I used to help a buddy make hash from his medical grow. We used a 50 gallon trash can with water, ice, and dry ice. I can’t remember how many bags we used. One of the machines looks like the way to go. So after that I pour the liquid out of the machine into the bucket. Do I need to agitate the bucket to get the material to separate down through? Would it make sense to have a drain on the bottom of the bucket to allow water to drain as I put more in to help the hash work it’s way down through the screens? What machine would you all recommend? Sounds like bubble man has the best bags? How much material can I fit in the machine? It sounds like it’s better to use wet material than dry and out in the freezer at least a day prior to running it? Thanks for the replies guys. I’m sure I could dig through everything on here and find my answer but this is easier lol
Maybe there’s a member that lives near Portland Oregon that would like to help me after this outdoor harvest and we could work out a deal. I’m definitely willing to kick down some hash for the help if so.

The machines have a hose that drains from the bottom. You set the bags up and drain the machine into the bags that filter it by micron size. I run a kilo in the buckets, so you could probably fit that in a machine. You cut down the buds and put them into bags then into the freezer. They are ready to make hash from when the buds are frozen solid. Frozen green buds! The machine is probably easier I do it with a drill and cake mixer attachment. 1/2 hour mixing total.
