Awesome! I will get that giveaway started today or tomorrow, also have a bunch of the Afghani Special F2 that will go in the giveaway. That’s a real unique one, it’s a worked Afghanistan LR with huge buds and narrow leaflet traits. Unsure where exactly the Landraces originated in Afghanistan.

Will certainly check out the co-ops there too, it sounds like an amazing way to work together as a community towards a common goal and for the love of the plant.

Agreed. The canna world on IG is just a lot of ‘hey! Look at me!’ bullshit. It just doesn’t feel collaborative, cooperative, or friendly.

What would you recommend for a pure landrace sativa? I have never been able to smoke modern sativas becuase they create anxiety for me. Hoping to find a landrace with the blissful euphoric high and little to no anxiety or paranoia.

I’ve spent a lot of time on various banks’ sites and for many varieties they mention that the sativa doesn’t have the paranoia factor to it. Was looking at a Thai last night. Beyond the Brain sounds good. https://shop.mandalaseeds.com/products/beyond-the-brain-new-edition-2020-mandala-seeds-shop

I ordered Ace Seeds. These are extreme sativas in all respects, developed by some of the best geneticists Spain has to offer. Should be interesting!

@OldUncleBen that paranoia factor must be something bred into them/selected for later on… I’ve recently heard alot of breeders/growers talk about actually wanting that anxious feeling in their sativa and I will never understand that.

That Panama x Malawi sounds insane. Is that the one that says it can reach 27% THC? Would be wild for a variety that genetically close to Landraces… and they also mentioned treating the smoke more like a psychedelic, set and setting, rather than like smoking bud.

My mother and father talk about the weed from the 60s/70s with such delight and I want to bring that feeling back for them. By the sounds of it my mother liked the sativas back then… but would never give her a modern sativa.
