I need someone to dumb down the science/math for me. For example say your growing out in Arizona were they get a ton of sun, you have 4 led set ups. I’m not familiar with LEDs so (your choice leds) that are comparable to 1000w HPS lights. Would you be able to power these 4 lights, and maybe an AC unit with solar panels?
Say each LED set up is pulling 650 watts from the wall, 650x4=2600 watts.
I hope I don’t sound like an idiot, I hope this makes sense. This was just an example if someone can help out that would be awesome
Way too many variables to answer that except in a broad, vague way that probably won’t help.
Why don’t you explain your specific problem or situation and then someone can answer it for you.
If it’s a question about solar panels and how to set them up, I would instead Google your question and find formulas on there for what you need to do.
Okay essentially what I’m asking is if it possible to power 2600 watts with solar panels. Like with out messing anything up.

Two of them maybe?
No the sun doesn’t stay up long enough to give you the length 12 or 18hrs you desire even, most of the day sun isnt giving panels direct rays(less power than at max output). Then you would need batteries to do that which you would need lifepo4 batteries and probably 10k worth I think in total you would probably be looking close to 20k+ easily.
Edit: I think closer to 30k$
Go to willprowse diysolar forum. Tons and tons of info there and on his YouTube channel
I built my own lifepo4 battery. 300ah. It cost me 800$ to build. I can run 1000w for 3hrs total.
Need to buy cells bms case and wires.
I did this for hurricanes. I can dim my lights and run them for a full 12hrs at 25% power. Recharge batteries via generator, solar, shore power.
Yeah I figured a solar panel setup would be wayyyy out of any budget for a simple homegrow…and also that there are wayyyy better forums to ask this on. Glad you stepped in
No problem I signed up here to help!! Glad I can give some advice when i know what I’m talking about.
Hey thanks you guys!
