#2 definitely has the best color, the buds will for sure be purple on it. The #5 I think will be green/purple mixed as it looks right now, and the #4 might only have purple leaves but we’ll just have to see.
The FLC BX1’s are really starting to stack now. And the FLC #1 is getting ready to bud at 13 days in. Going to have to move her sister in here before too long and see what she’s like.
Oooh I think we might be in business with the FLC BX1’s! I’m definitely getting a lot of spiciness in there from the NL5HSS #1, but as of today I’m starting to get whiff’s of lemon and dirty feet(cheese)
This is the next tallest at 22" inches. Really that spiciness kinda intermingles with the dirty feet smell at times. Kind of smells like some hashy lemons followed by straight raunchy feet… it’s not nasty but… heading in that direction Maybe the cheese will be strong in these It’s the first thing I smell when I open the tent.
In other news, I caught the PNL2 #3 and #6 male clones just about to pop open some balls in the veg tent
Had to immediately move them to another tent and increase the light timer. Not sure if they bottomed out the pot and just decided to go for it, or if some timer malfunction happened The girls in there aren’t flowering yet or anything…
It’s possible I’m gonna end up with NL5HSS #5 x Purple NL2 and maybe FLC BX1 x Purple NL2 seeds but I think I caught it all in time. Hoping the males will reveg and can grow out for a bit longer. Then I can flip all the PNL2’s to flower once they’re ~18" tall, to make Purple NL2 F2’s. Will make a thread and signup for those.
Here’s the NL5HSS #5, I’m seriously thinking she’s gonna be done by 60 days at the most.
All the buds that came in first have swelled up and have cloudy trichomes, starting to get amber. The second set is starting to swell now… She’s put out a third set in the past and that’s what has made her go to 80 days before… See what happens this time but the fade is definitely coming in now.
I’m thinking she’s gonna be done at like 56 or 60 days instead of the 80+ I was getting in soil. That center mass with the dark red hairs is 99% cloudy trichs with 1% amber as of the pic. The new calyxs/pistils are clear of course. We’ll see what happens.
Leaning towards this is my keeper. Will be this one or the #5. I took extra clones of both. Not keeping the #4 green pheno but will make seeds with her for sure.
Yes sir, water spray from the flood table they’re right next to. I need to make or get something to block that but I’m not seeing any issues really other than the look so far.
I’m all twitchy after seeing that mildew laced plant in the seedling grow chamber a couple days ago at the farm. Good to hear it’s indeed just water splashes!
Had to top dress the PNL2’s with some Roots Organic Elemental and water it in, The blumats been doing work this whole time tho. Definitely would do two blumats per 3gallon fabric instead of the 1per I’m currently doing, but it’s been working.
The #2 is hands down the winner when it comes to aesthetics. The #4 is the tallest of all 3… I’m definitely getting some strong incense smells off the #5, reminds me of nag champa or something, smells damn good.
Oh and I’m getting some spicy lemon smells from the FLC BX1’s. There’s a bit of dirty feet(cheese) at the tail end of the smell so I’m hoping that increases… As-is I’m thinking these are definitely gonna need at least one more backcross to really get the lemon cheesecake smell/flavor in there. Overall I’m really surprised at the uniformity of this line. It’s really only the bud structures that are different.
