Reactor 4
(Bob Bitchens Chernobyl (Slymer) S1 x (RainbowBelts #3 x Pirate Milk)

I’ve know Bob (through RIU) and traded seeds with him for a number of years. The Chernobyl mother was quite small, frosty, loud fresh lime nose and flavour, great high / stone.

Rainbow Belts #3 was the tastiest of the pack but small, she was hit with some Pirate Milk (Candy Rain x Cereal Milk) pollen to create Rainbow Milk. The Pirate Milk brings a larger frame, density, and frost.

This plant stretched like a rocket during flip, caught me off guard and I had to chop the tops off after two weeks of flower. Lowers became dense frosty sticky hand grenades with a fruit bowl nose, with the lime coming through near the end of flower from the Chernobyl S1.

A lot going on with the nose, lively fresh but not overtly fruity Zkittles, fresh Lime punching through with a hint of tropical fruit in the mix ending with a real nice deep earthy finish.

Fresh lime hits first on the inhale then the fruity fresh Zkittles, exhale goes straight to earth. Tasty and very smooth. Good motivated smiley high, smoke more will give a smiley content heavy stone.

She cloned easy and will be in my next run.

Double 11’s #2
Solfires Double Tap x Seed Junky’s WCF2 x KM11

(GG4 x Black Banana Cookies) x (Wedding Cake F2 x Kush Mints 11)

Double Tap #5 was a very tasty plant with a great stone, she also gave me huge yields when pressing the flower into rosin. The Wedding Cake F2 x Kush Mints 11 was one of the best packs I’ve flowered to date and I used #8 male for a bunch of crosses. Taken me 4 years to get these beans popped, I’ve kept my WCF2 x KM11 keeper around but the Double 11’s have made me think about letting her go.

#2 is the smaller of the two females found in this chuck. Thick glue, cookies and vanilla kush on the nose, goes straight through into the inhale and exhale. Strong long lasting stone. After the first run I thought #4 was the keeper but the second run #2 has shined through. Will run them both again.

#2 in Veg

She’s responding well to being topped and pinched and showing more vigor than #4.

First run with the offspring from the Golden Balls (Golden Retriever x (Wedding Cake x Kush Mints11)) male. I hit quite a few females a couple of runs ago with his pollen. First beans I picked to look through were two previous chucks, Adhesive x Zour Larry and Tour Bus which is Genuity’s DEMO hit with Urinal Cake #1 male I found from Thug Pug.

Break down of strains,

Adhesive = GG4 x (Nepali OG x Goji F3) - HappyBee
Zour Larry = Zkittles x Sour Larry Bx2 - Thunderfudge
DEMO = GMO x Dessert Breath - Genuity
Urinal Cake = Puta Breath x Mr Stinky - Thug Pug
Golden Retriever = Jew Gold x Ultimate Chem SFV - Thunderfudge

These are the first seeds where I’ve created the female and male parents.

Plants were flowered in 1.5ltrs of soil in a 2x3 under strip LED’s, couple of weeks veg then 12/12 then to 11/13. All responded well to being topped early. Quite a bit of stretch with #1 and #2 more than I like. #3 stretched half that of #1 and #2 and sat perfectly in the canopy.

Spatial Fields #1
(Adhesive x Zour Larry) x Golden Balls)

#1 leans towards the unmistakable sour citrus from the Sour Larry Bx2 in nose, there are other notes in there but the sour citrus is too dominant. Inhale is sour citrus with fruity Zkittles (not candy). Exhale is more sour fruity Zkittles. Very tasty with a heavy hitting couch lock stone.

#2

#2’s nose is full on thick dark Glue with hints of berries, best smelling out of 3. Expected this to come through into the inhale or exhale but its more sour berries and no Glue. Heavy couch lock stone.

#3

#3 is thick dark Glue berries with an almost Mahogany wood back end nose which goes straight through on the inhale and exhale, lingering on your taste buds. Tastiest of the 3, strongest of the 3, potent with a deep instant long lasting content warming stone. Put me to sleep no problem.

#3 would be a keeper but there’s no clone and the reveg was unsuccessful. Will probably pop some more beans soon, I really like what I came across.

Lost my Golden Balls male a while back and still have some pollen but decided to keep one of the Spatial Fields males around for future use. Glad I did after smoking the above.

Not a full run yet. I do have a few going now to see how I like it to decide which strain I want to start working the hardest.

Why do you cut the leafs ? Just learning and I seen this

When I used a dome back in the day I found out that if I cut the leaves the cuttings won’t get droopy…

Most people cut the leaves to limit transpiration and in turn puts more energy into root development

Nice I will try this I’m new and taking in all lessons and trying things out still one first grow tho lol so I have a lot to learn lol any other suggestions on topping they call it or is this what they mean?

Well honestly if you’re a new grower I wouldn’t bother with topping or even taking clones unless you just have an extra plant or two to play around with. Keep it simple low stress training is easy and basically just gently tying down branches to create a more even canopy. People can hate but grow weed easy is a great simple website along with Jorge Cervantes books.

I second this, there is some good information to be gained in either of these.

Sorry for the crappy pic, I think the literal excitement had me all shaky :man_shrugging: I didn’t feel like taking another pic. * All pics are day 63f flower

Bob Bitchen Chernobyl S1 x Archive Slurricane F1.
This first pheno is exactly what I was aiming for; the Chernobyl lime & frost, and the Slurricane flower mass & maybe some pinks & purples :hugs: an absolute gem for my very first go at making seeds :metal:

Pheno #2

Structurally it leans Chernobyl big time, this one struggled with seemingly being overfed at times, still has a sort of mushroomy thing going on with some lime zest.

Pheno #3

This was the short one, seemed to be a nice blend of the parents structurally but has the most unique breakfast sausage sage-y Kush thing going on. I cannot wait to smoke & taste the exhale on this one, to me that’s where the magic happens with Kush-oriented strains

@numberfour I love seeing your Bob crosses! :metal:. Fabulous work, and holy moly what a lineup you have :fire::fire::fire::fire::fire::fire:

I started on GWE before I found out Overgrow was back and up… A huge treasure trove of info all hyperlinked and well written.

I think it is a great idea to try out new techniques before you need them. That takes a little pressure when you do it ‘for reals’…
…Each one is a new tool in the old tool box! :+1:

I copied GrowWeedEasy verbatim for my very first grow, the feed charts n everything :+1: results blew me away at the time, in hindsight it was still pretty good, even now 4+ years into growing I still find myself peeking at that site

I hear you I read up on it and I feel I did good because I been testing dirt and root growth and right I don’t really have he money to play but I feel I learned so much in this half fail bring back to life and I got one almost grow in and killed five beans doing it but now I got a system and all the people in the group are great and like your help and insight I don’t think I do to bad at adding one more step up to growing better and being poor lol I like to learn breeding so I can make more seeds to be able to grow more and learn more. Cloning is down the road but breeding should be fun I love the way the male I had looked and wished I knew breeding was a thing lol for boBuba
Because more seeds more learning I mean I love that I can have my own bud but to make my own strain is so wild to me lol so I have a question what the best learn strain for beginners grower do you think and what a good easy breaders ? I’m trying to figure these two things because I think I might wait till I get a good good grow in and then move on

Window Licker
(Tour Bus x Golden Balls)

Second chuck with the Golden Balls Male,

Breakdown of strains,

Tour Bus = DEMO x Urinal Cake #1 - (I used #1 and #6 male’s in chucks)
DEMO = GMO x Dessert Breath
Dessert Breath = Cookies n Cream x High School Sweetheart
Urinal Cake = Puta Breath x Mr Stinky
Golden Balls = (Golden Retriever) x (Wedding Cake F2 X Kush Mints 11)
Golden Retriever = Jew Gold x Ultimate Chem SFV

Window Licker #1

Nose is Oranges and Onions / B.O. Its pungent loud and offensive. I’m really not keen on this pairing terp wise. Sadly this is the exact flavour on the inhale and exhale and lingers, real mouth coater. I had friends round helping test, a couple liked it, said it was punchy, immediate unique flavour and strong stone. I gave them my pure joint and said enjoy.

Window Licker #2

Tangerine peel leading to cake nose, now this is better. Taste is better but there’s orange and onions pairing on the exhale. Decent stone.

Window Licker #3

#3 is like a watered down #1…no thanks lol.

Not for me this one. I did keep a male around but just from flavours of the females its not something I’d like to take further. Shame as he had a fantastic structure and tight node spacing.

Looks good! Too bad the taste isn’t what you’re after. I’m not a fan of that wet rotten onion taste myself. Yucko lol.

Try, try again!
