How, bout some trivia? 😎

Fun question. @lophophora.ca

I had to look it up - does it count ?

Aftercataracts and tesseradecades would be the longest words you can type using the left hand.

Lollipop is the longest for the right hand.

Also known as a secondary cataract. This one is reaching, seeing as the medical dictionaries I searched hyphenate the word. :eyes:

Yes.

Titin is the largest known protein.

This protein plays an important role in muscles the body uses for movement (skeletal muscles) and in heart (cardiac) muscle. One of the main job of this protein is to provide flexibility, structure and stability to Sarcomeres’s cell structures.

Titin full chemical name is 189,819 characters and takes 3.5 hours to recite

First few lines:

Over 200k characters thats crazy. There is a bug in ios where if a homekit device is named over 500k characters it bricks the phone.

There is a distributed computing project called folding at home from stanford. They use the power from several peoples’ computers at home to figure out how proteins fold to help learn about curing muscular diseases and things it can help. I don’t have a graphics card so haven’t been able to participate but it’s interesting.

In the movie Halloween, the killer Michael Meyers wears a mask. Who is the face a mask of?

ETA: I hope I’m not supposed to be coming up with something because wake and bake. Turns out summer 2020 flower can still be flavorful and potent.

Okay, I’ve got one, could be tricky could be easy. Curious to see if anyone can come up with it without Googling.

Name the fictional airline central to the plot of the TV show “Lost” that was also featured in the Steven Seagal/Kurt Russell movie “Executive Decision” as well as minor appearances in numerous unrelated TV shows.

Maybe that one was a little hard, it’s a bit of a trivia trope. The answer is Oceanic.

I didn’t want to cheat and couldn’t bring myself to watch executive decision

Another trivia trope related to film: Give the name associated with the stock audio scream that has appeared in over one hundred films, i.e. the “_______ Scream” (the associated name was the surname of a character in a 1951 film, not a first name as one might suppose).

I don’t know the name but it’s funny you ask this. I can’t remember what the hell I was watching recently but it was something from the 80s and it had this scream in. It surprised me to find out it’s been around for so long.

Nebuchadnezar? Not 100% on the spelling though.

I actually found it impossible to remember until you gave that hint, then the spelling is easy. :stuck_out_tongue: Nebuchadnezzar, of course. The spell-checker came right out and told you it was wrong, @Slick1!

I didn’t think the spell checker would pick it up right or wrong
